Part 4 of F L A S H B A C K
2nd day at St. Cloud high school. Was about to enter when I spied Chad standing there in a downcast position. Seems like he was waiting for someone. He looked up to me and glanced but I looked sidewise, pretending that I was not sure if that smile's really for me.
"Reid, come on. You're almost late. Are you done with our homework?"
"What? Homework? You, fool. Isn't it obvious? I ditch classes. Obviously, I won't waste my time doing that homework! Non sense. Get away from me, simpleton!" I started walking but still he follows me wherever I go. "What's wrong with you?! I said get away from me! Are you really stupid or something?!"
"Listen, I won't leave you behind so stop sending me away from you. Come on, don't be stubborn. You're gonna get into the class whether you like it or not!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.
"Fine! But set my hand free, first!" I insisted.
"No. I won't. This one's better, let's go!"
And now, I'm stucked with this idiot guy. We're inside the classroom and he was sitting right beside my seat. I kept on frowning... frowning... and frowning.
"Focus. You're out of your mind, listen to her." Chad said.
"And why would I listen to her? She's just a teacher. I'm so bored here, let me go now."
"No, you're not going anywhere. You'll be staying with me, get it?" he's grinning again. I hate it.
"Uggghhh!!!" >,<
After the first class, we went to the roof top. I can't believe this! How can I take this idiot!? I'm definitely insane!
"Why do you have to do this. . . I mean, no one really had a chance to talk with me but you."
"You're just tellin' yourself that you're different that's why you keep on pushing yourself away from others. Reid... believe me. I'm not the kind of guy who'll play with your heart. I'm serious, I really like you. hope we can be friends." he handed me his right hand and I guess he's waiting for me to give him mine.
. . .and yes, I gave him my hand. I didn't even know why, but I think it was an irrational move.
"Whatever. Friends. ^_^" I smiled at him with sparks in my eyes.
