Chapter Twenty-Three

SPADE'S POV

"Bro, you're good?" Tumingin naman ako sa nagsalita at si Scorpio naman iyon.

"To be honest, I'm not." I admitted. "It's been a week at hanggang ngayon wala pa ring clue kung nasaan si Amy." I said at napahilamos sa mukha gamit ang kamay ko.

Naramdaman ko naman na umupo siya sa tabi ko at saka tinapik ang balikat ko.

"I know that feeling dude, don't worry." He said.

"I just....missed her." I said whispering the last words.

This may sound gay but Scorpio just hugged me to comfort me.

"Makikita din natin siya okay?" He said.

He's not talking to me as Scorpio, he is talking to me as his big brother.

My heart clenched ng pumasok sa isip ko ang huli naming pag-uusap.

I shouldn't let her leave.

This is all my fault.

"Don't beat yourself Spade. Walang may kasalanan." Ani ni Scorpio, lumayo naman ako sa kanya.

"It is Scorp., I promised Stavros na babantayan at aalagaan ko ang Mama niya but look, where is she!? She's gone!" I said raising my voice at the last line.

Napasabunot na lang ako sa sarili kong buhok dahil sa sobrang inis. You're such an idiot Spade!

"I said stop it!" I said at pilit na inalis ni Scorpio ang kamay sa buhok ko. Nang maialis na niya iyon ay hinaklit niya ang kwelyo ko at pilit na pinatingin sa kanya. "Listen here you dipshit." He said angrily.

"Let me fucking go Scorpio, di mo gugustuhin na magalit ako." Banta ko ng magsimulang uminit ang ulo ko.

"No, you will listen to me. It is not you're fucking fault na nawala si Amethyst, hindi ka si Superman o si Batman na laging nandyan para protektahan siya. For pete's sake, Amethyst is a soldier!" He scolded.

Inalis ko naman ang kamay niya na nakahawak ang kwelyo ko.

"But she's still a woman Scorpio, I know you heard about what happened to her in the past at nang marinig ko iyon? I promised to myself that I won't let it happen to her, that I will protect her. But where is she!?" I said.

"Tumigil ka kung ayaw mo na turukan kita ng sedatives." Banta nito.

"Fuck you." I cursed at saka uminom sa beer in can na inilapag ko lamesa kanina.

My Amethyst is missing, hindi dapat ako nandito at umiinom ng beer.

I should search for her.

Tumayo naman ako at akmang lalabas ng pinto ng maramdaman ko na nakasunod sa akin si Scorpio.

"Leave me alone Scorpio." I said.

"No, Zaim told me that I should guard you. You're not in your sanity right now." He said.

"Oh yeah? paano mo naman nasabi?" Panghahamon ko sa kanya.

"Naalala mo ba na muntik mo ng patayin ang sarili mo para i-donate yang puso mo kay Sabrina?" Pagpapa-alala nito.

Yeah he's right, I am that crazy.

Especially for the woman I love.

"I can't fucking leave you alone Spade. Saan ka pupunta? ako na magda-drive, lasing ka na." He offered.
