SPADES'S POV
"Can I sit here?" She asked in a fluent english.
Parang nag-echo lang iyon sa isipan ko at nanatili lang akong nakatingin sa kanya.
"Hello?" She said and waved her hands infront of me. Kumurap-kurap naman ako at saka tumingin sa paligid ko bago tumingin ulit sa kanya.
She's real, she's not an illusion.
"Mister, are you okay?" She asked in a concerned tone.
"Amethyst.." I muttered.
"Uhm...who?" She asked in confusion.
"You...ikaw si Amethyst." I said.
"I'm not mister...I'm...nevermind, you're a stranger." She said at nagsimulang kumain mula sa sandwich niya habang nakatingin pa rin ako sa kanya, nagkasalubong naman kami ng tingin pero nag-iwas naman kaagad siya. "Staring is rude, mister." She commented at gaya kanina ay kumurap-kurap ulit ako.
"Sorry." I said at saka bumalik sa pagkain pero nawalan na ako kaagad ng gana dahil sa adrenaline na biglang dumaloy sa akin.
Amethyst is infront of me right now and I'm not hallucinating.
Kaagad naman na kinuha ko ang phone ko at pinindot ang number ni Zaim para tawagan ito.
And in just three rings sumagot din ito.
"It's already 12:00 am, what the fuck do you want?" He greeted.
"Check the CCTV in this canteen, ASAP." I said bago ibinaba ang tawag at nagpanggap na nagta-type.
"Are you...the owner of this hospital?" She asked, tumingin naman ako sa kanya and I can see a curiosity in her eyes.
"Yes, by the way I didn't introduces myself yet. I'm Alexander Middleton." I said and I gave her my calling card.
"Oh...I'm sorry for being a bitch awhile ago." She said and I just smiled.
"By the way, what is your name?" I asked.
"I'm Nefertiti Scott. Don't mention the history, I know where that name came from." She said and I chuckled.
"You're mother must really like Egyptian history." I commented.
"Yes, infact she has a whole shelves full of books that contains Egypt's history." She said and I chuckled again.
"So what will I call you?" I asked.
"I go with Nef." She answered, sumandal naman ako sa kinauupuan ko at tinitigan ulit siya.
Yung ugali niya, para siyang lumaki sa mayamang pamilya.
"Ang ganda ng mata mo.." I commented again and she chuckled.
"Make them roll in pleasure." She answered at tumaas naman ang kilay ko.
Katahimikan naman ang bumalot sa aming dalawa bago kami nagsalita.
"What?" Sabay naming tanong.
Did I hear it right? Patirikin mo?
Sasagot sana ako ng biglang nag-vibrate ang phone ko. Way to ruin the mood Zaim.
Kinuha ko naman iyon at sinagot.
"Fuck, siya nga." He said.
"That's my reaction awhile ago." I said.
