McKenna pov

"Mom stop ruining my life! Let me party!" I slurred and hung up the phone. My friend Blair handed me my cup back and I drank it.

"My mom is always up my ass" I say and Blair laughs

"My mom could care less. That's what you get when Alex Morgan and Tobin Heath are your parents."

I groaned, "I didn't ask for them to my parents."

"Well they are, and they love you so I think you should head home. I can give you a ride." My responsible friend Lizzie said.

"Fine. Whatever."

I get into my car and Lizzie drives us to my house. I get out and Lizzie helps me walk up the stairs.

She knocks and I feel out of it all the sudden. My headache is pounding, my throat is dry, and my stomach is killing me. I start to cry silently as my Mom opens the door.

Mama (Tobin) is in Portland for the NWSL championships so it's just Mom and Aunt Mal that are home.

"Hey Lizzie. Thank you so much for getting her home safely. I know there is one responsible friend." Mom says as she grabs me.

I hear my mom shut the door and she continues to carry me into the living room. She sets me on the couch and Aunt Mal hands me water.

"Listen Mack.." Mom says and I just move over to hug her.

"I get it Mom. Your just trying to keep me safe and I thank you for that. You have never ruined my life and your simply doing what's best for it. I love you." I say smiling and my Mom smiles back.

"That was adorable and really sweet Mack,but your still grounded." Mom says and I smile.

"I am okay with that."

"No more parties either." Aunt Mal says who had been like a mother figure since I could walk

"Okay can we just cuddle and watch a movie please?" I ask and mom nods.

I cuddle into her side and Aunt Mal starts the movie. She sits on the other side of me and kisses my forehead.

"I love you guys" I say

"We love you too" Aunt Mal and Mom say at the same time.
