Chapter 8

Stella's Pov:
Since Colby ruined the Mid-night man game yesterday, we have to play that again tomorrow and I'm really not looking forward to it. Today everyone is busy making content for the fans and going to photo shoots and other things which means I'm gonna be home alone, even though Jake and the girls , all except Tara, volunteered to stay with me but I told them that I was gonna be ok by myself I actually have a full day planned. I'm going job hunting I'm gonna post pictures for my Instagram, catch up on some writing and just chill here at the house. I get dressed and do my hair and a natural glam makeup look before heading downstairs to eat something.

(She wears the shoes instead of the boots)
I grab my phone and the debit card that Jake gave me and put it in my bag since I'll need to go food shopping later and I walked out of the door locking it behind me with the spare key they gave me and placed that in my pocket as well. Since I don't have a car, I call an Uber and it arrives a few minutes later and I get in.
Uber Driver-Hi how are you today?
Stella-I'm good, how are you?
Uber-I'm doing ok.
Stella-Good, you know where I'm going right?
Uber driver-Yeah, would you like some water, my name's Ryan btw
Stella- No thank you Ryan, also my name's Stella, nice to meet you.
He nodded and drove off. This Uber driver was cool, he liked the same music as me and he was really nice.
He dropped me off at my stop which was Starbucks, I payed the man and went inside.
Cashier lady- Hello what can I get you today?
Stella- Can I get the S'mores Frappuccino please?
Cashier lady- Of course just a second.
After a few mintutes she came back with my drink.
Cashier lady- What's your name?
Stella- Stella.
Cashier lady-I love that.
Stella- Thank you.
After she wrote my name on it she handed it to me.
Stella-How much?
Cashier lady- $5.45
I swiped the card on the card on the credit card terminal and payed the right amount of money before slipping the car back into my bag.
Cashier lady-Thank you have a nice day.
Stella-Thank you, and you too.
I turned to walk out but found myself walking back over to the counter.
Cashier lady- Would you like something else?
Stella- No I was wondering if you had any job openings here?
Cashier lady- I'm not sure, hang on I'll go ask my boss.
She left and came back a few minutes later with a smile on her face.
Cashier lady- We have one more opening left so you're just in time, here take this application and bring it back tomorrow filled out but it has to be in before we close, which is at 10:00pm.
Stella- Ok thank you so much, um Jenny.
I read the name tag she had on and she just giggled and shook her head.
Jenny- You're welcome Stella, have a nice day.
Stella- You too.
I walked out of Starbucks with the application and sat my drink down on one of the tables outside to put the application in my bag. Then I picked up drink and just walked across the street to taco bell. I went inside and ordered my food and I got some tacos for Jake since he loves Taco Bell, and I paid and went to an empty booth and sat down until my food was ready. After a few minutes they called my name and I went up and got my food and sat back down. I sat my bag down beside me nect to the window and took out my phone and saw that I had a few text messages from Jake:

Jakey: Hey are you ok
Jakey: Wyd
Jakey: Why aren't you answering?
Me: Sorry my phone was in my bag, what's up?
Jakey: Just wanted to make sure you were alright
Me: I'm fine, thanks
Jakey: No problem, where are you right now
Me: Taco Bell
Jakey: Please tell me you got me a taco
Me: I didn't
Jakey: Whhhhhyy
Me: I got you some tacos you big baby
Jakey: Thank you, you da best
Me: No problem, ttyl
Jakey: K byyye

I giggled at his last text and put my phone back into my bag and continued eating. I wonder what will happen between Tara and I. I mean me and Jake are getting close but we are just friends and we just met each other. However...my feelings for him are becoming more complicated and that definitely wont help when it comes to Tara.
After I finished my food, I placed Jake's food in my bag and made sure I put it to where it wouldn't get mushed and headed back home. Once I got home, I put Jake's food in the fridge and put my empty Starbucks cup in the trash and went upstairs to write for a bit. I sat down on Jake's bed and pulled up the notes app on my phone and started writing down some of my story ideas.
After that I decided to watch the video we made introducing me as the new roommate and just as I suspected, Jake was caught staring at me a few times and he would have this same grin on his face, even the fans noticed. Some fans were hateful towards me but most were kind. I went on instagram to see the picture that Jake posted of us all on Halloween and some of the fans were shipping us while others defended Tara and Jake's relationship. Why would they ship us when his girlfriend is literally hugging him and kissing his cheek while I'm not even near him? It makes sense why some fans would be defensive. Then after a few mintues I heard a knock at the door.
I put down my phone and walked downstairs and when I opened the door, my breath got caught in my throat and my stomach felt as if it were twisting in a knot.
