Chapter 41

Jake's POV:
As I was driving all I could think about was Stella and Sam, were they okay? They would call if something went wrong wouldn't they? And then there was the question I'm pretty sure everyone had, Is this going to work? The closer we got to the address, the anxious I got. Who knows what or who could be waiting for us when we get there? About 4 minutes later we reached the address and I looked at Colby and he nodded at me and got out of the car. I did the same and looked at the house in front of us. It was fairly big, and it was in the middle of nowhere.
Colby- You ready for this bro?
Jake- As ready as I'll ever be.
Stella told us there were cameras around the property so had to be very careful because if it caught us, Brennen would know we were here. We snook up to the house making sure no cameras saw us, and walked up to the door and I turned the knob and to my surprise it was locked, looks like Brennen has some common sense after all.
Colby- I didn't think he would actually look the door.
Jake- Me either, so how do we get inside?
Colby- Lets try around back.
Colby and I crouched down and sneaked to the back of the house where we found a fairly big pool which I didn't expect considering that we're literally in the middle of nowhere. We turned towards the house and saw two doors and since it was glass we could see inside the house. We slowly walked up to the doors and we had to slide one of them to get inside  and we did just that because those weren't locked, forget about what I said earlier about Brennen having common sense because he clearly doesn't, who the fuck leaves their front doors locked but leaves their back doors unlocked? We checked the first floor of the house and found nothing of use to us. So the we headed upstairs and checked the rooms. There were 3 rooms upstairs and we only looked through two and what we found made my blood boil. On a bulletin board there were pictures of girls and they all looked very young and there was a small map with red dots on it and they we're scattered so I'm guessing the red dots marked where each girl lived. Then I saw Stella's picture, not once but multiple times and in one of them all of us were in it and I was hugging her and we were all sitting on the couch. He was outside of our house spying on us and watching her!
Jake- This is fucking sick, Colby this has to work if it doesn't Stella and other girls will still be a target.
Colby- I know bro, and it will, lets check this last room and see if Bradley's in there.
I nodded and I took the pictures of Stella down and put them in my coat pocket and tore the rest of the pictures and the map down and ripped all of it to shreds.
Jake- Okay Cmon.
We went to the last room and i turned the knob and it was locked. Colby knocked on it as if someone was on the other side and if there was someone on the other side they didn't answer.
Colby- What now?
Jake- We look in the rooms again there should be a key.
He nodded and we split up checking the two rooms.
