Chapter 52

I linked arms with Mr. Webber and we slowly walked down the isle. I felt all eyes on me but I kept my gaze on Jake who had the biggest dimpled smile on his face and kept his gaze on me. Once we finally reached the alter, Mr. Webber handed me off to Jake and I took his hands and everyone toon their seats.
Minister- Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in honor of this man and this woman in holy matrimony.
The man continued to talk but to me it sounded muffled. I looked into Jake's eyes and he looked into mine and at that moment, it felt as if we were the only two people on Earth and nothing else mattered. Something the man said pulled me out of my daze.
Minister- Now for the vows, Stella would you like to start?
Stella- Yes. Jake ever since you found me at that bridge, I knew you were the one for me. A complete stranger and yet you were the only one who told me they cared, the only one who told me I mattered, that I had a purpose.
At that point there were tears were present.
Stella- Y-You saved me. And I can't thank you enough for that, and for asking me to be your wife.
Everyone- Awwww.
Jake was in tears too but the smile on his face remained.
Jake- Stella, the day I saw you on that bridge....I wasn't in a good place either and I wouldn't have left the house if it weren't for Colby forcing me, I was upset with him but now I'm so glad that he did. When I first saw you, I wanted you in my arms, and safe even though I didn't know you. When I hugged you, I felt something that I've never felt with anyone. I love you so much, I can't even put it into words. You are my everything.
I smiled and wiped his tears gently with my thumb.
Everyone cooed once more some of our friends wiping tears from their eyes.
Minister- And now for the rings.
I looked over to see Zac holding a pillow with the rings on them and Colby was holding him and brought him over giving us the rings and I gave Zach a kiss on the head and Colby and him went back to their spot. I turned back to Jake and placed my ring on his finger and he placed his ring on my finger.
We made our promises to each other not taking our eyes off of each other.
Minister- I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may-
Jake didn't give the man a chance to finish before he pulled me in close and kissed me deep and passionately and I gladly returned the favor.
Everyone cheered and clapped causing me to smile into the kiss and we eventullay pulled away and walked down the isle, our fingers intertwined. And from that day on we, would be together until we were grey and old, and Zach would grow to be a very talented and successful man and I know he will make us both very proud.
