Chapter 20

I walk out to the pool and Jake is outside holding a bouquet of blue roses my favorite and in there's candles leading from the doors to him so a candle path way.
Stella- Jake.
Jake- Happy Birthday Stella.
He hands me the flowers and kisses my cheek making my heart flutter. Then he gets down on one knee making me gasp putting my hand over my mouth.
Jake- Stella you mean the world to me and I can't imagine my life without you in it. I love you so much, in fact I've loved you since Suicide Bridge. You're all I think about and I can't stand being away from you for a second not even a millisecond. I crave you in so many so ways that I didn't even think were possible and I've been denying my feelings but I can't anymore. You are the light of my life, my everything.
He reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small box and opens it revealing a ring and that's when the happy tears keep falling.

Jake- This isn't a proposal.....yet....but a promise. A promise to always love you, to have eyes for you and only you, to always be there and protect you. One day I hope to stand by your side at the altar and slip a wedding ring on your finger and say I do and start a family. Will you Stella Brock Lynn, except this ring as my promise to you and as my girlfriend?
Stella- Yes, Yes a million times yes!
As soon as Jake stands up I hug him tightly and place my hands on his cheeks and kiss him passionately and he does the same.
Others- Awwwww!
We pull away giggling and he slips the ring on my left hand ring finger and pulls me into another kiss lifting me off the ground.
I squeal and wrap my arms around him smiling into the kiss. Kat took the flowers and put them in some water and the others wished me a happy birthday once again before Jake took me out on a date. I thanked them and Jake drove us to a mystery location and once we got there he put a blindfold on me and lead me somewhere.
Stella- Jake where are you taking me?
Jake- You'll see.
After a few minutes we stopped moving and he took off the blindfold and I gasped.

Stella- Jake.
Jake- Cmon.
He held my hand and carefully walked over to the set up and I did the same not wanting to bust my ass and fall in the water. Once we reached it he pulled my chair out for me and I sat down as I blushed and he kissed my cheek pushing my chair in and he sat in his seat.
He took the tops off of the plates and there was lasagna and bread sticks underneath and it was still hot.
Stella- You did this?
Jake- Yeah I had some help from the others, that's why we sent you and out of the house with Sam.
Stella- This is so romantic, no one has ever done anything like this for me before.
Jake- Well they should have, you're worth it.
He knows exactly what to say and his words made my heart skip a beat and I got butterflies in my tummy.
We talked about random topics that might seem weird to other people but to us it was everything and we just loved having each other's company.
Stella- You remember the day Brennen took me?
Jake- *sighs* sadly yes.
Stella- I started to text you something but he smacked my phone away from me before I could. I was gonna say, I love you.
Jake- I love you too, more than shrek.
Stella- Well I love you more than spongebob.
Jake- Woah, more than spongebob?
Stella- *giggles* Yes.
Jake- *smiles* c'mere.
I leaned forward and so did he and soon our lips touched and they moved perfectly in sync with each other and it was so full of love and passion. This moment was absolutely perfect, they way the waves hit the rocks, the surprisingly cool breeze, blowing through our hair, gently kissing our skin and the beautiful sunset behind us, I want this moment to last forever.
