Chapter 34

-3 weeks later-
Colby's POV:
It's been 3 weeks since Stella went missing and all of us are very worried about her. Every day we've gone out and looked for her and we've filed a missing person's report but the police aren't much help. And through all this there was only one person that got badly affected by this, Jake and he is not in a good state at all. He won't eat, he won't sleep, he won't shower, he'll just lock himself in his room and he'll only come out to use the bathroom and goes back in his room after ignoring us completely.
We've all tried to make him come out of his room to talk to us or to eat but he'd refuse every time but I'm done trying to reason with him. I walked up to his room and banged on his door.
Jake- G-Go away.
I could tell he was crying, he's been doing that a lot lately.
Colby- Jake open the door NOW.
Jake- I said go a-away.
Colby- Jake if you don't open this damn door I'm gonna kick it down!
There was a few minutes of silence until I heard a click followed by the door opening a bit. I walked inside and saw that his room was trashed, holes in the walls, close everywhere, broken glass it was just horrible. I looked down and saw Jake on the floor with his knees pulled up to his chest as stared at a picture of him and Stella.
Jake- She means everything to me and I couldn't protect her.
It hurt me to see him, my best friend, this hurt but it was time for him to man up.
Colby- Jake you need to stop this right now.
He looked at me as if he didn't know what I was talking about.
Colby- The not sleeping, the not eating, the not showering, the locking yourself in your room, ignoring us it all needs to stop NOW.
Jake- But-
Colby- No buts, you think this is what Stella would want? Do you think she'd want to see you like this, and coward?!
Jake- I'm not a coward.
Colby- Yes you are.
Jake- No I'm not.
Colby- Yes you are.
Jake- NO IM NOT!
His eyes were black and his hands were in fist and his chest rose and fell repeatedly, he was fuming, but this is what he needs.
Colby- Oh what you mad now?
Jake- Yes I am.
Colby- Well what are you gonna do about it?
Jake- I'm gonna find her and I'm gonna kill the son of a bitch who took her and this time, NO ONE is gonna stop me.
Okay seeing him this mad and talking that scares the hell outta me, but I know he would never hurt me, the others, or Stella no matter how pissed he was, so I can handle that.
Colby- Good, now clean this damn room and take a damn shower.
Jake- Heheh right *rubs the back of his neck as he looks around his room*
Colby- Come down when you done, we may know where she is.
Jake- Okay okay.
I went back downstairs and told the others about what just happened and they're relieved but also a bit concerned and I couldn't really blame them.
