Chapter 23

Stella- Okay fine I'll do it but next time the puppy eyes won't work.
Jake- We all know that's a lie.
Stella- Oh shush.
Jake- Let's go bruvas.
Stella- Go where?
Jake- We have to go buy the handcuffs.
Stella- Ooh kinky. *smirks*
They burst out laughing and I joined.
Jake- It's for the video.
Stella- A foursome huh, I'm into that.
Colby- Oh my god. *Laughs*
Jake- *Jaw drops*
Sam- *laughs* El no.
Stella- *Laughs* Kidding, lets go.
-Time skip-
After Griffin came over we got the handcuffs and the boys handcuffed their wrists together and I filmed them as they did a bunch of dumb shit in public that made people stare and it was so fucking hilarious.
-Time skip-
After we came back home everyone was in the living room and there were Christmas decorations up and a Christmas tree with presents underneath.
Stella- I forgot Christmas is tomorrow I didn't bye anything *facepalms*
Kat- Me either we can go to the mall and do some last minute shopping.
Stella- Okay lets go Devyn you rolling?
Devyn- You know it.
We went out to her car and she drove us to the mall.
-Time skip-
We came back home with our last minute gifts and put them under the tree and everyone was sitting in then living room talking and there was cups, soda, and pizza on the table.
Jake- Finally you guys are back we're watching the 'Grinch that stole Christmas'.
Kat- Yayy my favorite movie.
Devyn- Kat did you text Tara to see if she's coming?
Kat- Uh yeah um...she said she can't make it.
Devyn- Oh.....its gonna suck without her we always do this with her every year it wont be the same....
Kat- Yeah I know.....but I understand...she wishes everyone a Merry christmas though.
The girls smiled a bit but I could tell they were sad and that only made me feel even more guilty.
Kat sat down next Ariya whom I had just recently met and he's a funny cool guy. Devyn sat on Corey's lap  and I sat down next to Jake and once the movie started Jake puts his arm around me which made my heart flutter. Colby sat next to Sam wrapping an arm around him and Griffin sat next to Xepher doing the same. As the movie progressed they ate pizza and drank soda and made small talk here and there but I just kept my attention on the movie not wanting to eat or be apart of the conversation.
-Time skip-
After the movie, Xepher,Griffin, Ariya had to leave and gave everyone a hug and said their goodbyes and everyone else started to go up to their rooms since they were tired and it was just Jake and I left. I just stood up and gathered the extra slicss of pizza in a box and closed it and put it in the fridge and threw the other boxes away and I went back in to the living room and as I went to pick up the plates that were left Jake grabbed my hand.
Jake- Hey you okay?
Stella- Yeah Im fine why do you ask?
Jake- It's just....you were really quiet during the movie and you didn't eat.
Stella- I was just really into the movie and I wasnt really hungry.
Jake- But-
Stella- Im fine alright?
I pulled my hand away and picked up the dishes and brought the to the kitchen and began washing them. Thats when I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me towards their chest.
Jake- Please talk to me.
He placed his head on my shoulder and placed a kiss on my cheek.
Stella- I don't know I just......
I trailed off and stopped what I was doing and let out a sigh.
Jake- Tell me.
Stella- I feel guilty.
Jake- Why...
Stella- Because Tara didn't show up and the girls looked really disappointed and I feel like I'm the one to blame....I stole her boyfriend and I stole her friends......none of this would've happened i-if it weren't for me.
I felt a tear slip down my cheek.
Jake- Baby no....
He slowly turned me to face him and gently wiped my tear with his thumb and rubbed my chin.
Jake- Don't say that, nothing is your fault. You didn't steal me or anyone else from Tara. Us breaking up....it was for the better of both of us.....I just.....I lost feelings for her and I couldn't keep lying to her or myself....I was gonna call things off but she beat me to it. I still live her but not in the way I used to. I hope she will find someone better. Someone who truely loves her. But dont blame yourself for anything okay?
Stella- O-Okay.
He placed a soft kiss on my lips and pulled away kissing my forehead.
Jake- Clean your hands and head upstairs I'll finish up down here.
Stella- You sure...
Jake- Yes im sure.
Stella- Okay.
I rinsed the soap off my hands and dries them and went upstairs to his room and laid in the bed and closed my eyes and after a few minutes I felt the bed dip, and arms wrap around me.
Jake- Good night baby.
Stella- Night.
I smiled and slowly drifted off to sleep.
