Chapter 1

Idiot

"Are you ready, Aurelia?" my Daddy asked.

We're inside the car, driving to Garnet Academy.

"Yes, Dad." sagot ko.

"Remember everything that I've told you... Keep your eyes on the Flamma students. Take down note all the details you can get. Their full name, what their family does, every single thing." saad ng Daddy.

Dahan-dahan akong tumango.

My father had prepared me for this day. I was trained for this. I will transfer to Garnet Academy for two reasons... To study and to spy the elite students.

There are four Casas in the academy namely Flamma, Terra, Aqua, and Aeris.

Casa Flamma is the highest rank. They are the heirs of large companies. Largest in the country and even Asia. My Dad said that I should keep my eye on them.

I will enter the academy as a Terra. I'm considered as a high Terra. Not enough to be a Flamma, but too high for a Terra. My Dad is a co-owner of a loan business, that's why, I guess...

Kinakabahan ako kaya hindi ako agad nakababa sa kotse pagdating namin. The academy is too beautiful. Gusto ko pa sanang i-appreciate ang ganda ng eskuwelahan na papasukan pero dinadaig ako ng kaba ko.

My Dad opened the car door for me. "Let's go, Lia."

"I-I'm nervous, Dad..." I honestly said.

Today is the first day of school, but only for the Student Council. We are one week ahead sa mga regular na students.

"You don't have to be. You're prepared for this." anito.

Malalim akong huminga tapos ay bumaba na ng kotse.

Inayos ko ang suot na uniform. I like the uniform here as well. Inside is a white short sleeves polo, pinapatungan ito ng dark blue na long sleeves. There are khaki colored details stitched on the collar and hem line. Ang neck tie naman ay stripes na halong light at dark blue colors. Tapos ang plaided skirt naman ay kulay khaki.

The school is too big. Hindi pwedeng lumabas sa Academy. Iyon ang patakaran dito ayon sa handbook. Kaya naman nandito na rin lahat ng kailangan kagaya ng mall pati na rin ospital.

Hindi nagtagal ang naging pag-uusap kasama si Mrs. Montecillo, ang headmistress. She oriented me a little and gave me my Terra necklace. She said that it's more important than my ID.

"I'll be going, anak." Daddy said.

"Alright, Dad. Take care. I'll miss you." sabi ko at nalungkot na maiiwan akong mag-isa dito.

Si Daddy na lang ang pamilyang mayroon ako. I don't have anyone else aside from him. Hindi ko na nakilala ang Mommy ko. She died when I'm still a baby. Ang Lola ko lang ang nag-alaga sa akin simula noon. When she passed away, biglang lumitaw si Dad at kinuha ako. Doon ko lang siya nakilala.

Ang sabi niya, naghiwalay sila ng Mommy at hindi niya alam na may anak sila. He only found out recently. He tried to visit me but my Lola didn't allowed him. Nang tanungin ko kung bakit, sinabi niyang galit pa rin daw ang Lola dahil sa naging hiwalayan nila ng Mommy noon.

I don't know anything since Lola never mentioned my Dad. Pag nagtatanong ako, sinasabi niya lang na ang Diyos ang ama ng lahat tapos ay magpe-pray kami.
