The night was silent and cold, Jungkook had left the tent for a breather as he sat on the small wooden stoll. In front of him was the now dead fire. He watched it closely, mesmerising every tiny fire sparks that flew in the air by the feeble blows of wind. After having you on his mind for hours, he's senses and body just wouldn't give in. He was restless. He needed to see you, or he'd go crazy.

He sat there for God knows how long, catching every spark, reminding him of the stars. It was late, he needed to go back, but he couldn't, not because he was lazy, but he froze on spot. The cold feeling of the sharp edge of a knife on his neck made him freeze.

" hello captain, what a pleasure to see you tonight. Its a relief to see that I'm not the only one out here. Were you perhaps gazing at the stars as well."

Jungkook recognised that voice immediately. He was one of the men they catched on the river. But it wasn't just any men, it was the captain.

" don't bother asking how I got out, your men had fallen asleep, so I thought why bother waking them when they were laying so comfortably in their own world."

Jungkook chuckled. It was deep and raspy. He wasn't expecting tonight to turn this way. " you're right, it is late, I would've done exactly the same if I were you. I was in desperate need of companion myself. As they say 'no night is long, when you're in good company'. Don't you agree captain." Jungkook answered as more of a statement, than a question.

" Well, I'm happy to be of service, captain. " and with that said, Jungkook threw his head backwards hitting the captain right on his nose, causing him to stumble back. A few mumbled curses were heard from his side, as he reached for his bloody nose. " get ready to die tonight captain. " was the last thing he got to say before retreating his hand, and rushing with full force towards Jungkook.

With no other way to escape, Jungkook managed to dodge every blow he was thrown at. He had a dagger stuck to his boot, as the one on his waist was not where it used to be. And not knowing how to grab the latter, he had to keep dodging, or at least find a way to fight back without getting stabbed at.

" you can't keep dodging my every blow like this." he mentioned.

" says who." Jungkook replied with a smirk, saying he could go on like this all night if he had to. But could he really?

" you'll only end up tiring yourself out like this, and there's no use thinking of a way to fight back, I'm to quick for you, you'll only end up getting stabbed even trying." he was right, Jungkook knew that he'd end up missing a step and probably falling soon enough. And the speed of the captains attacks, were indeed quick and fast. But he had to try reaching for his boot that's the only option at the moment.

And with no second thought he threw his arm in front of him, and as planned he was stabbed on his right bicep. The pain was severe, but he could manage, the knife digged in deep and the pain was strong. But that definitely didn't stop him, reaching for his boot he pulled out his dagger. Now armed he was ready to fight. With a knife stuck to his arm.

" wow, unexpected, and very brave. But I can assure you that I not only carry one but three knives with me, and I'm definitely not afraid to use them."

With a wince Jungkook answered. " good to know, I was worried you'd give in so easily, that would just kill the fun. " who was he kidding, he had an injury, and a knife sticking out of his arm. This was the opposite of fun.

" good to know you're up to the fight captain, I have to admit, I've been misjudging you too quickly, you have more guts than anyone I've ever fought with. And I warn you, I'm not what you'd call an easy opponent." that was no lie.
