Dragon Ball Super: Cooler's Wrath

CHAPTER 22: YARE BROLY!

The Z-fighters are being overwhelmed by Cooler's soldiers. Cheelai fires her blaster but there's too many as everyone stays clustered together. Suddenly, a massive green energy blast takes out several of the soldiers as Broly swoops in and beats them all down with just one punch. He lets out a loud roar of green energy, vaporing a few soldiers left. They're all shocked to see Broly easily dispatch them all and he turns to face them with a kind face. Cheelai smiles and hovers over to him on her board to hug him.

"Thanks a lot Broly!" she says joyfully.

Broly smiles.

"Good thing that guy is on our side" Krillin whispers to Yamcha.

"Hey Broly!!!!" Dore shouts from the ground below.

They all look down and Dore stands waiting. He looks serious and eager to fight once more. More soldiers come and surround the others besides Cheelai and Broly. Broly heads down to the ground as Dore is itching for some more action. Cheelai stands between them as she keeps Broly back.

"You don't have to do this" she tells him.

Broly ignores her as he places her aside and walks towards Dore. She refuses to be dismissed and runs past Broly and stands in front of Dore.

"You don't want to do this" she tells Dore, "just leave Broly alone."

Dore ignores her plea, only looking at Broly inching closer. He's serious and the rivalry between them seems apparent and growing as Cheelai realizes she can't do anything but let them fight.

"In all honesty, I've never met such a formidable foe like you" Dore says, "it brings me back to the old days."

Broly has nothing to say to him.

"I know you're holding back your power. I sensed a great source of energy from you from before."

Broly is intimidated, knowing exactly what Dore wants, but he doesn't want to give in, fearing he'd lose control. Dore anticipates this, knowing he's right.

"Hate to do this to you, but..."

Dore fires an energy blast straight at Cheelai. Broly quickly takes action and shields her from the attack. She notices him breathing heavily, worried about her, as Dore waits, hoping his plan had worked. Broly is pissed and his face says it all as begins to tense up and the heat within his body begins to increase. The ground around them begins to shake as Broly starts to lose control of his rage. Dore edges Broly on, teasing him to fight. Broly starts stomping towards him and each stomp the energy around them feels tense.

Yamcha, Krillin, and Piccolo stop fighting, having sensed the immense energy coming from Broly. Meanwhile, Tarble and Vegeta continue to fight as Vegeta senses Broly's energy rising.

"That energy..." he says to himself.

Goku senses Broly's ki and smiles.

"Broly's done it again."

Steam coming out of his mouth, Broly walks towards Dore as his hair glows and a green aura surrounds his body. Cheelai notices he's trying to keep himself under control. Dore lands a punch but it does nothing but drags him away as if he pushed himself off using Broly as a bounce board. Dore is pumped to experience this and Broly starts swinging, causing him to dodge, but he's too slow compared to Broly. Dore manages to headbutt Broly and slam him to the ground but Broly's rage is too much it doesn't hurt him at all.

"What's with this guy?"

Broly punches Dore away using only his palm and stands up. Dore fires a Dore Grenade and that doesn't work. Cheelai sees Broly is holding back and that's what stopping him from just beating Dore with ease; he's afraid of hurting her.
