Several days have passed, since Cooler's defeat, and the world is back to normal. In the grasslands, Goku is back to plowing his crops as the sun is high in the sky. Goten arrives handing him a glass of water.
"Thanks son."
He gulps it down in one go and suddenly a spike of energy appears and the two sense it immediately. At Capsule Corp, Vegeta and Trunks are training outside as Bulma works on an invention while Beerus and Whis relax under an umbrella eating many treats given to them. Bulla is in Beerus's arms.
"You know for a God of Destruction you make a really good babysitter" Bulma jokingly says.
"You take her back!"
Bulla giggles and pulls on Beerus's ear. Meanwhile, Vegeta and Trunks are hard training when they feel the spike of energy as well.
"What is that Dad?"
Vegeta only smiles stating, "finally he comes."
A ship lands on the grounds and it's quite familiar for its the one he wished for Tarble. Exiting the ship, is Gure as she's the first to come down and it's not someone any of them expected. Then, coming out right behind her is Tarble in more casual clothing, having tossed away his NightHollow armor.
"Hey everyone!"
Trunks is the first to greet him before Vegeta walks up to him. Trunks is greeted by Gure.
"Who is this with you?" Vegeta asks.
"Yeah, sorry about that. This is Gure" Tarble responds, "my wife."
"Your wife?!" Vegeta says stunned and quickly rushes to her and bows, "it's nice to meet you."
"It's an honor," she replies.
"No, the honor is all mine."
Goku arrives using instant transmission with Broly, Cheelai and Lemo alongside him. Many of the other Z-Fighters arrive having sensed the power energy level and greet Tarble with a warm welcome.
Meanwhile in space, Frieza is on his personal ship as what's left of his fleet assemble around. He remembers a moment of time when he and Cooler were sparring in their youth when Cooler would always best him. Each time Frieza was knocked down Cooler would always help him up and deep down Frieza looked up to him before their father revealed his prodigal lineage. He takes a breath and BerryBlue arrives to inform him of something.
Back at Capsule Corp, a huge feast is held and everyone scarfing down what's there. Gure is in shock to see how much Goku and Vegeta alone go through as stacks on stacks of dirty plates pile up around them. Goku snatches a sushi off of Vegeta's plate.
"You don't want that right Vegeta?!"
Vegeta gets mad and slams his fist down on the table shouting, "you dumbass! I was saving that for last!"
"Oh whoops I'm sorry."
Vegeta quickly grabs Goku's pork off his plate and shoves it in his mouth, chewing loudly just so Goku can hear him gulp it down. Goku gets pissed and turns super saiyan.
"Vegeta! That was mine!"
Vegeta turns super saiyan as well in response and shouts back, "you had that coming!"
They both see the last kabob on the table and reach for it when they see Broly across the table get frustrated, realizing that's his. He grits his teeth at them and he's preparing to go super saiyan as well. The tension rises between them and in one fell swoop, Bulma and Chi-Chi smack both of their husbands in the back of their heads and they revert back to base form. Both wives annoyed they go back to their table to eat as Tarble has no clue how to respond to what just happened.
Moments go by and it's all laughs and everything at peace. Tarble stares at the sunset as Vegeta walks up behind him.
"Thank you, Vegeta" Tarble says, "thank you for not truly abandoning me."
He places a hand on Tarble's shoulder and they look at scene; it's truly beautiful and serene. Vegeta hops off the ledge and lands in the grass below and signals Tarble to come follow. With both now on the ground, Vegeta heads a distance away from his brother and gets into fighting stance.
"I don't want you losing your edge" he says, "you never know what new threat may come."
He transforms into Super Saiyan Blue and Tarble smirks, getting into his fight stance.
"You know that transformation doesn't phase me" he says. He channels his inner energy and his eyes turn orange as a flaming aura channels around him. His hair has a fiery orange color surrounding him which astounds Vegeta. Goku and Broly watch the sparring match begin and are angsty to join in.
"Stay out this Kakarot" Vegeta shouts, "this is just between me and my brother."
Tarble, in his new found energy he tapped into, stands ready. Krillin and the others appear to watch.
"Hey, Goku didn't you have a brother too?" Krillin asks.
Goku thinks for a moment and finally responds, "now that you think about it, he's somewhere in hell the last time I checked."
Vegeta and Tarble wait for the other to strike first and they both charge at the same time, ready to collide.
