KISSES
We stayed in Cappadocia for a couple of days more because of what happened to me. It's my first attack after a long time kaya hindi ko masisisi si Donny kung bakit gusto nyo na umuwi right after I got discharged but I insisted to finish the 10 city trip he prepared for me. Ayaw kong masayang lang lahat ng effort nya at ng pamilya namin.
Right now, we're here in Amsterdam. This is my dream destination ever since I was a kid. I saw it from the books I read before and from the videos of my ninang who used to work here. I promised myself before that one day, I'll come here with the person I love. And I did. I came here with the person I love the most.
Lumingon ako kay Donny na mahimbing na natutulog sa tabi ko. I traced his face with my fingers and kissed him on his lips softly. Naramdaman ko syang ngumiti kaya agad akong lumayo.
"Ikaw love ha." He said with his husky voice and eyes closed.
Tinapunan ko sya ng unan kaya minulat nya mga mata nya. Natawa lamang sya at hinila ako papalapit sakanya.
"Why are you still awake?" He asked. Binalik nya ang mga mata nya sa pagkakapikit habang yakap pa rin ako.
"I can't sleep."
"Why? Is there anything wrong? May nararamdaman ka ba?" At sa pangalawang pagkakataon, minulat nya mga mata nya at nakakunot na noo nagtanong sakin.
"Wala...in fact, I feel good. So good." I smiled.
"Then that's good. Now, go to sleep cause it's a big day tomorrow." He said. He kissed my forehead then went back to sleep.
When I woke up the next day, wala si Donny sa tabi ko. I got up and called for his name but no one answered. I'm worried but calmer this time cause I am sure, he won't just leave me without a reason.
Pumasok ako sa banyo para magtoothbrush at doon nakita ko ang isang note na nakadikit sa mirror.
"Goodmorning Love! Go get ready. I'm in Ibis Hall, two floors down our room. I'll wait for you. :)"
Nawala yung pagaalala ko. Napalitan ito ng saya at ngiti. After I brushed my teeth, nagshower ako ng saglit at nagbihis para puntahan si Donny sa baba.
Hindi mahirap hanapin ang Ibis Hall na sinasabi nya dahil iyon agad makikita mo pagkalabas mo ng elevator. It's a small function hall dito sa hotel kaya nagtataka ako bat ako dito pinapapunta ni Donny. Hindi naman dito yung free breakfast.
Unti unti akong pumasok sa hall. May isang babaeng sinalubong ako at sapitan akong pinaupo sa harap ng isang salamin. Maliban sa kanya, may mga iba pang tao ang nandito. Yung iba may mga inaayos na hindi ko na nakita dahil may isang nakaagaw ng pansin ko. A note again posted on the mirror in front of me.
"Love, I lied. I'm somewhere else. Hehe. Meet your crew. They'll be in charge of you on the next few hours. Trust them okay? Love you."
I smiled. Ano nanaman kaya ang pakulo neto ni Donato. Isa pang pinagtataka ko, anong crew? I looked around and the people who were busy just a while ago are all smiling at me. I awkwardly smiled back at them then they went back to their work.
Nagulat ako nang biglang may binagsak na make up box sa harap ko. Well, hindi naman binagsak pero parang napalakas ata ang pagkakalapag nya. Yung babaeng sumalubong sakin kanina, sya yung may dala nito. She opened the box and started putting make up on my face without even talking. She looks so serious. Nakakatakot nga eh.
While she was putting make up on my face, one person was doing my hair. Two others were doing my nails.
When she was done, that's the only time I was able to look at my face. The whole time kasi nakablock sya don sa mirror.
