I'm sitting at the dining table, eating my breakfast with a smile on my face. I was thinking about my boyfriend, Ryan. He's so sweet, and caring. I love him to death. I would do anything for him.

"Jamie," Mom yelled, "You're going to miss the bus if you keep daydreaming!" I look at the time on my phone and quickly get up.

I thank my mom for the breakfast and tell her I love her before rushing out of the house. I run to my bus stop as I see my bus turn the corner onto my street. I get there and catch my breath as it pulls up. I get on and see Ryan in the back, talking to the rest of his friends laughing, so I head over to him and sit next to him.

He puts his arm around me and makes me face him. He grabs my chin and kisses me, I kiss him back with just as much love. I pull away and I can feel my cheeks burn red. He chuckled and pulls me close.

Ryan is bisexual, and out of everyone he could choose, he chose me.

We arrived at school and Ryan has his arm around my waist, holding me close. We parted ways when I had to go to my locker.

I grabbed the things I needed from my locker and replaced them with the things I didn't need and made my way to my first class, math. I hate math so much, it gets me so frustrated and it's so boring. And yet I have it for my first class, pray for me.

It's lunch time and I wait by my friends locker, Mandy. She's this beautiful girl, with brownish blonde curled hair, with hazel eyes. She's a real beauty but not for me. Because I'm gay, obviously.

She makes her way over to me and waves with a huge smile on her face, showing her perfect snow white teeth, "Hey, Jamie," she exclaimed with her perky voice, "The group is gonna head to a party later today since it's Friday and I was wondering if you were gonna go?"

It wasn't my first time going to a party, I like parties surprisingly, "Yeah, I'll go. What time?" I asked exited for it as we started to walk to lunch.

"It starts at 7 but we'll be going at around 8:30 to pick you up." She explained.

"Who's throwing it?" I asked, my excitement showing on my sleeves.

"One of Brian's cousins." Brian is apart of our friend group, he super chill and laid back along with Alex. He's more of the extravert of the group.

"This is gonna be amazing!" She giggled at my excitement as we entered the lunch room.

We sat down at our table with the rest of the group, not getting lunch. We never really ate school lunch since it was on the gross side of things, and it was raining today so we couldn't go out to eat.

I sat right next to Ryan and Mandy sat next to me as we all talked and laughed together.

Today is a good day.

After school when I arrived at home I set my bag  down by the door and made my way upstairs to my parents room.

I opened there door and saw my father on the bed on his phone, half awake, and my mom at their shared desk on her laptop typing something up.

"Hey, mom, dad, I wanted to ask something?"

They turned their attention to me and my mom spoke up, "Go ahead." She said turning her chair to face me.

"I was wondering if I could go to a party tonight?" I asked looking back and forth at them.

They both exchanged glances, "Alcohol?" Mom asked.

"Nope."

"Drugs?" Dad asked.
