Leah Point of View

When Alex started to speak Spanish to Will. I was lost, I could not follow along considering I never learned it. So I walked over to Artemis and Zoë and asked them if they knew what they were saying.

"Well Will called her Firefly."

"Brother? Is it really you? I haven't heard from you in years. I thought you didn't want to see me again after what happened. I missed you, everything got worse after you left. I thought you didn't love me after I told you about me. "

"I had problems with the monsters and had to come here. I haven't been home because my mother died in an attack and I didn't want to burden you and Chief Swan with having to deal with another child with ADHD, dyslexic kid and mouth to feed when it was already difficult enough for both of you to try to get you through school and everything that was happening at that time. I missed you too, but now we can catch up and not worry about anything that gets in the way."

"I didn't know you could speak Spanish Alex. When did you learn?"

"I learn back in kindergarten. I also know French, Russian, Latin, Greek, and ASL. I found that other languages were easier to learn than English so I learned multiple languages at a young age."

"Cool will you teach me some of each?"

"Yeah now let's go for a walk I want to get out of here the smell of chemicals is getting to me."

We walked out and then Artemis told us that they would see us at dinner and that we need to go to the big house to talk to Chiron. We started walking to what looked like the big house and saw two people sitting outside playing a game. We walked up to them and asked,

"Do you know where we can find Chiron? Artemis told us to come see him."

"Yes children what can I help you with?"

"We are the new campers."

"Ah yes well I suppose I could give you both the tour in the morning since dinner will be soon but I will show you where you both will be staying until you are claimed or at least one of you considering your smell. Are you a shifter Alex?"

"Yes and Leah is my mate I would prefer it if we were not separated. I don't want to hurt anyone if I find out someone didn't take the hint that she is with someone."

"Very well. Follow me I will show you to Cabin Three as the Hermes cabin is to full and would most likely end with someone in the infirmary if you both were to stay there. So you will be staying with Percy and Thalia as they are almost always together. And Thalia doesn't like her cabin very much."

"Ok and that is fine with us. We actually already know them. We met Percy when we were younger."

We followed him to the area that all the cabins were. We saw Percy and Thalia heading to a cabin that was near the waterfront. We thanked Chiron and ran towards them.

"Hey guys, look who is up and about."

"Hey Alex you are looking better than earlier. How do you feel?"

"A bit tired since I have been in bed for the past few days. But getting stronger every minute."

"That's good. Did Chiron tell you where your sleeping until one of you get claimed?"
