New day Jesus, can I do anything, anything for love
Faithful hopeless, can I do anything, anything for love...
Having come back to the monastery after a new trip on a new festival, Teddy felt like at home. He realized that he has really missed these grey walls, narrow corridors, his small room and – especially – his brothers in Christ. He loved his new home and it was no wonder. Teddy was so happy there.
It seemed that for the first time in his life he felt fully satisfied with his life. He lived among the people who understood him and shared his views, he did what he wanted to do and – what was the most important thing - he was in harmony with his own soul. Besides Teddy often got letters from people who thanked him for what he was doing. This fact alone would be enough to make him happy. He couldn't dream about something more but there was so much more.
And then, singing again at one of the religious events, Teddy saw a girl, whose face seemed familiar to him. For some reasons his heart missed a beat, his voice failed and he forgot the lyrics – it hasn't happened to him for a long time. Teddy smiled embarrassedly and went on singing with his eyes trying at the same time to find the one who was guilty of his sudden excitement. She looked so much like...Catarina! Although Catarina had a different hair-do and a different face expression, but the years have passed! Was it really her, love of all his life, as Gabe would have called her?
For a moment Teddy looked away, then lost the girl and decided that he was mistaken. What she might be doing in a crowd of believers? Only if she wasn't following him...
He sighed deeply, thinking about it and sincerely hoping, that Catarina had not chosen this way. He was seriously sure that she had forgotten him and got married a long ago. But what if she hadn't?..
