But somewhere down the line
I'm sure we'll meet again...
Teddy didn't notice how days were gone, weeks ran and years rushed. They poured like the sand through the fingers, flowed like a rapid mountain river waters, flew away like light white clouds carried by the wind. When at last he decided to stop and to sum it up, it turned out that whole six years have passed. But he felt as if he has just arrived to the holy abode that became for him a real home, full of light and warmth. Nevertheless he understood that he needed changes.
Teddy loved God and was happy to be near people who shared this love. He wanted to show the light of this purest love to others and he expressed his views through his creative work. He observed with satisfaction that many people shared them.
Little by little, trips to other countries and a lot of letters, that he has received, finally convinced the young monk in his ability to lead people. Teddy has grown up morally much and didn't doubt his faith any more. And now it was time to help others to choose the right path.
Surely after all this time it was uneasy and even a little scary to return to mundane life. Although from the other hand Teddy never left it during these six years. He kept on going to different places, meeting and communicating with new people. He knew all the world news and often he was the center of important events himself. Now he saw, that he couldn't spend these years differently. Besides it was a new challenge, that Teddy could not refuse.
Living in the monastery and keeping his vows was quite easy, but could he stay as pure in the place, where temptations were so close? Only when he felt the solid confidence in his strength, Teddy has decided to leave the monastery. Clearer then ever he realized his mission and understood that he would accomplish it more completely being closer to usual people. He knew that so there would be more use of him.
- There won't be much change in my life, - he said to Father Dominic. – I just need this freedom.
- Surely, my son, - his spiritual tutor answered with a smile. – You have been ready for this a long time ago and I don't doubt in you at all. You won't go astray. So go and enlighten lost souls! And sometimes return here.
- Of course I will! – Teddy smiled warmly too. – I've spent under this roof the happiest days of my life but it's time I moved on.
At the airport he was met by Gabe and Martha. They squeezed him so tight that Teddy almost choked.
- I hope you're back for long? – asked the little sister who now turned out to be a beautiful young woman. Gabe glanced with hope too – just like in their old good days.
- I hope, I'm back for good, - said Teddy. – I am really back!
At first he couldn't get used to it. He still got up with sunrise and spent the whole morning praying. Trying to catch new life rhythm, Teddy didn't do much in the first days, but soon he felt bored. Having stayed at every his brother and sister's house and nursing with his little nephews, he understood that this was nice and great but he needed the place of his own. Also he had a plan for the nearest future.
- Can you lend me some money? – he asked Gabe. - I want to make one of my old dreams come true.
- Surely, - he was always ready to help.
- And I'll need some more for releasing of a new cd, - Teddy went on. – I have a lot of stuff...Wanna record it. And also I'm planning to give a concert. What do you think?
- Great plan, big brother! – Gabe gladly cried feeling inspired. – Your fans will die of happiness. Do you know how much they've been waited for you? I've read the letters on Facebook...Your fans have grown up. They are not that crazy any more.
