Jae's lonely life seems stable and dull until he finds out his son has run away from his boyfriend to fulfill some mysterious plan that might break two people meant to be or bring two back together.
"And now my stupidity reached its peak when by what I considered will hurt you less, I have hurt you more. I'm so sorry my Junie. So so sorry I'm not worth to be your parent anymore, but I love you and Jae with all my heart," Taeyong was crying too.
"Daddy," Renjun fell into his arms sobbing louder. "But it's all lost now, Jaemin will nerve forgive me. What can I do?"
"No Renjun, go to him. We will go back on land and I'll book a plane ticket for you. We will find out where Jaemin is and you'll fly there immediately and tell him everything like you had told me. As I know Jaemin and I know him a little, as he was this cute little trainee when I had just debuted, he will be upset but might bend to your charms," said Taeyong caressing his cheeks.
"Will you go to Jae?
Taeyong lowered his head.
"It's not that easy."
"Going to Jaemin isn't easy too, what do you think!" Renjun raised his voice.
"Ah, ok I'll try to speak to Jae, but first let's bring your Jaemin back to you," Taeyong smiled through the tears when Renjun cuddled into him finding some relief in the pain.
"I love you Daddy Tae," whispered Renjun falling back into Taeyong's arms.
"I love you my baby so so much, you can't imagine," Taeyong was crying into his shoulder caressing his back.
Renjun was super tried after the crazy sleepless night, him and Taeyong had had the deepest talk ever until he fell asleep on that bench on the yacht. He was back in the house now, packed and waiting for Taeyong to come and pick him up to go to the airport, his body tingling with excitement, he couldn't wait to see Jaemin again yet another part of him was so frightened. What if Jaemin won't accept his apology.
The doorbell rang and Jungwoo hurried to open.
"It's Gina," he said when Renjun felt a shiver down his back.
Despite the uneasy feeling he walked to the door to see the girl. She had deep shadows underneath her eyes from crying, he lowered his head asking her to come to the beach for a little walk.
"I'm so worried about you. Are you crazy to escape a surgery that is necessary. I will talk to Taeyong to convince you to go there!" she raised her voice.
"Gina, there's no surgery necessary, Taeyong knows it," said Renjun his voice shaky.
"What do you mean?"
"It's happening for years, ok. Since I was little, it's neurosis, it's psychosomatic," said Renjun feeling heat on his face.
He hated speaking about it to people he wasn't really close with.
"Why haven't you told me?" she asked. "I'm your girlfriend."
"It never happened to be the right moment to speak about it besides... I want to break up," he said.
She opened her mouth watching him with tears filled eyes.
"Why? because... because of yesterday?" she asked.
"No because I... I wasn't honest with you from the start. I... I love someone else."
"What... what... what? You're telling me now? Who is she?"
"He."
"Pffff..." she out haled the air.
"He? Are you trying to say you're gay or something?" she asked buffed.
"Yes."
"Who is it, the tall one or the dummy?" she hissed.
"Who?" Renjun blushed. "Oh no, Lucas and Jungwoo are together they're not."
"Great so who is it? Someone old and creepy like this Garry your dad is dating?" she was mad.
Heartbroken, he felt guilt.
"Na Jaemin," he said when she blinked.
"Who?"
"The model you think is hot," whispered Renjun.
"Oh..." she stepped back. "Oh... I see," she bit her lips.
"I'm sorry, I... I didn't mean to hurt you."
"But you did," he saw tears rolling down her face.
"I know, I'm sorry."
"Leave it," she turned around running away when he stayed there watching the waves.
The hot air was unbearable for Renjun when he left a taxi next to the beach. It turned out Jaemin was doing a photo shooting in Hawaii, the plane Taeyong had booked was quicker than expected so Renjun was here now. He had a very stressful meeting with Gina in morning, he still felt bad as he knew he had broken her heart by his curious behavior, and Jaemin's heart, and his own.
'Daddy please wish me luck,' he sent a text to Taeyong.
'I'm crossing my fingers, fighting,' Taeyong's text came back immediately.
It was amazing to be able to text Daddy Tae again, speak to him like in the old times. Even if Jae will never forgive Taeyong, Renjun was sure him and his father will stay friends.
Still it couldn't change the fact that he himself felt totally unworthy to be forgiven, Gina was a great person, but he had broken her, Jaemin was an angel he hurt so much he couldn't imagine.
Renjun was worried and sad when he was walking down a path between sand and grass till a security guard covered his way.
"Hi, I... I came to speak to Na Jaemin," said Renjun looking up at the man.
"Keep dreaming boy," the guy raised his brow.
He was like a stone wall, a barrier on the way to the shooting area.
"I'm Lee Taeyong's son, my name's Renjun and I need to speak to Jaemin it's important. Please tell him I'm here."
"What other stories will you come up with?" asked the man amused.
"These are no lies! I need to see Jaemin!" shouted Renjun.
"Who is this, a fan?" asked Jaemin's stylist coming towards them, she stopped recognizing Renjun. "Oh!"
"Farnanda please please please tell Jaemin I'm here and I need to speak to him," begged Renjun.
