Back then him and Jaemin were speeding down the ancient part of the city, Jaemin's favorite string concert in the loudspeakers.
Wasn't it just too perfect to be true when they stopped the car in a quiet street, walked down to the harbor, found a haven for yachts, a pier with the view over the glittering water. Renjun's heartbeat crazy, his breath uneven when he sat down on the pier next to Jaemin cuddling to his arm.
"I found this," whispered Renjun taking the present he had wrapped up in a self made paper with Moomin drawings out and handing it to Jaemin.
"Wow the wrapper is a masterpiece," whispered Jaemin opening it very carefully to not to damage his drawing. He smiled watching the CD Renjun had found, it was a missing concert to his favorite classic's collection.
"Thank you Renjun, it's amazing," whispered Jaemin watching him with glittering eyes.
"You're amazing," said Renjun cuddling to the boy.
They were sitting there cuddling, Jaemin's hand caressing down his side lovingly.
"Don't you want to go somewhere to a wild party, it's your birthday anyway?" asked Renjun catching Jaemin's loving gaze.
"I have everything and more right beside me," he whispered caressing Renjun's hair back their eyes meeting on the way, their lips falling into each other.
It was just magical, like all their kisses, Renjun couldn't get enough, both making out for ages till Jaemin's lips slipped down his neck leaving sweet wet spots, he started to nib on Renjun's skin in a way the boy's vision blurred.
Renjun must have given out a moan because Jaemin's lips stopped.
"Ah!" he sighed moving back catching quickened breaths, his hair messed, Renjun's fingers playing with the upper buttons of his silky shirt.
"Don't stop," begged Renjun when Jaemin sighed loudly.
"Jae will kill me," he grinned becoming red turning to the bay view.
"Why?" asked Renjun placing his chin on Jaemin's shoulder.
"For the hickeys, there are two," Jaemin became even redder.
"What? Hickeys are exciting," Renjun clapped. "I want more!"
"No, two is more than enough," Jaemin shook his head giggling.
"I'm seventeen, eighteen next year," said Renjun pretending he just accidentally unbuttoned one of Jaemin's shirt's buttons.
"What are you doing Junie?" asked Jaemin laughing.
"I'm sorry," Renjun buried his head into Jaemin's shoulder.
He was burning, it was all Jaemin's fault, why had he be so hot, it was illegal.
"Let's calm down I'll read you some poetry in this beautiful scenery," muttered Jaemin taking his phone out opening an e-book with American Beat Generation poems.
Renjun sighed, his body begging for so much more when he was trying to concentrate, but all he could do was to touch Jaemin's chest through his shirt, draw circles on his thigh with his fingertip, up his belly, loosening the fabric of his shirt a little, constantly climbing, untying the second button of this silky shirt, slipping underneath with his palm when Jaemin chuckled under his breath but kept reading.
"It's enough Junie," he whispered almost on his lips then pecked them quickly, Renjun's body struck by lightning.
He tried to concentrate when Jaemin began to read, his low voice so calm, but Renjun felt like a rocket ship in the sky when he glued his lips to Jaemin's neck nibbling on his skin the way Jaemin has been doing not so long ago. He was sucking on it until a hickey appeared, Jaemin's body tensed but he kept reading.
His voice echoing along the water when Renjun felt like drunk, unable to stop scatting his neck with kisses sucking small and deep hickeys into it, Jaemin's voice like music till Renjun's fire laid down enough for him to place his chin on Jaemin's shoulder and listen to his voice only, this low sweet voice reading a line he couldn't forget.
'Moloch in whom I dream Angels.'*
They stopped at a beach bar, Taeyong opened the door for Gina, they chose a table with an ocean view, ordered food, Gina moved hear chair very close to Renjun. The boy froze but Taeyong's eyes fell on him so he just wrapped his arm around the girl observing his father's reaction. There was an important reason, he reminded himself, a reason why he was going through this inhuman pain to receive Taeyong's attention, to be let in into his world as he needed to know, he had questions to ask. Questions that were leaving him sleepless, that were like an opened wound, so if his father wanted a straight son, here he was.
Renjun remembered all too painfully when Taeyong had caught him being almost kissed by Lucas may years ago.
"Renjun why are you so quiet, I thought you'd like to speak with your father," said Gina turning to him.
"I'm enjoying the time together," he said.
Why was his voice so dry, take some proper acting classes Renjun.
"What would you like to talk about Renjun?" asked Taeyong becoming serious, their eyes meeting for a moment then Taeyong concentrated on his plate.
"I... ran out of questions," whispered Renjun lowering his head, a silence fell.
"It's a family reunion, maybe I'm making you guys too hampered to speak freely," said Gina jumping up.
"No!"
"No!" they protested but she smiled apologetically then walked to the beach while the silence continued.
Taeyong was chewing on his fries miserably, he swallowed, took a napkin, dried his mouth then coughed meaningfully.
"So," he said not looking at Renjun. "Has Jae sent you?"
Thank you you for being here, for supporting this story, you are amazing. What do you think about Renjun's memory with Jaemin and Taeyong's question? What will Renjun tell? Will they be able to communicate?
*Btw, the quote Jaemin was reading is from a poem called 'Howl' by Allen Ginsberg.
