Jae's lonely life seems stable and dull until he finds out his son has run away from his boyfriend to fulfill some mysterious plan that might break two people meant to be or bring two back together.
All the times he had taken love for granted, when he was too spoiled by it, then too broken again. Jae was laying on the couch reading messages from Sicheng and Doyoung, both were happy because of Chenle's album becoming platinum. Jae would gladly join the hype but he was too worried about his Junie who wasn't answering calls. It has been two days, Jae was trying his best to not to go insane but he needed to know if his baby is ok. The doorbell rang so suddenly he almost screamed.
"Junie!" he said jumping up collecting his slippers from the floor then running down the corridor sprinting to the front door opening it wildly to stop in total horror, as it was impossible, simply impossible or was it just a bad dream.
"Hello Jae," said the person in front of him when he was pinching his arm painfully but the nightmare was still there.
"Afe you feal?" he asked when Taeyong chuckled shaking his head.
"I've actually missed your f," he said kicking him off guard. "Yes I'm real I.... I came because of Renjun who had visited me, had broken into my castle, started to date a girl, broke up with Jaemin, yes... it's actually a long story I'd like to share with you, if possible in rather calm circumstances," said Taeyong lowering his had his breath becoming uneven.
"What? I don't undefstand a thing," said Jae.
"I know can we... um meet somewhere in town and talk?"
"No you... you can go to the gafden bench I'll come in minute," said Jae slamming the door shut inhaling sharply.
It wasn't possible right? Taeyong wasn't here, simply here after four years of nothing, just standing in front of his door telling him he had seen Renjun... Renjun! It was his crazy plan, this crazy plan Jaemin didn't want to share with him, Jae felt cold shivers running down his body, it all made perfect sense so suddenly like put together pieces of the same puzzle. Renjun had gone to the States, broke up with Jaemin to convince Taeyong he's actually straight as he had definitely imagined it's his sexuality that made Taeyong leave.
"I'll kill him," said Jae taking loud breaths.
How could Taeyong mess up their lives like that again?
"I'll kill him," repeated Jae before running out walking to the garden swiftly.
"What do you think you have done? Fuined Junie's felationship, when him and Jaemin afe peffect togethef!" shouted Jae causing Taeyong to become very pale.
"Jae I... I came to say that Junie had confessed his crazy plan to me and... yes, right now he's in Hawaii trying to win Jaemin back so... yes... Jaemin said he will forgive him so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, he's older than Junie and more responsible I hope," Taeyong sighed.
"What... you... you have the guts to come hefe aftef fouf yeafs!" shouted Jae.
"I came because I had promised Junie I will. Trust me it was the hardest thing I've ever faced," whispered Taeyong.
"Does he... does he.. did he... lost it completely?" asked Jae.
"He's just a boy dreaming about his parents to be together again I... he's still a baby in some ways," Taeyong's cheeks blushed.
"You made him bfeak up with Jaemin!" Jae was still shouting.
"I had no idea he's in a relationship or so deeply in love, if I knew..."
"What then?"
"I always thought Na Jaemin is a narcissistic asshole, he's too handsome," said Taeyong.
"You afe the asshole," said Jae inhaling sharply. "Jaemin is a lovey kid, he's like my second son and the way he took cafe of Junie, you have no idea what he has done for Fenjun! How could you know... wait you haven't been hefe!" Jae took two steps back from they man he despised so deeply.
"Isn't he too old for Junie? I mean the age gap is huge," said Taeyong when Jae's jaw fell.
"He is the feason why Junie sufvived you leaving us. I can't imagine what would happen to him without Jaemin. You don't undefstand, you can't undefstand it! The way Jaemin had healed Junie's symptoms like no medication can."
"That's not possible," whispered Taeyong trembling.
"This is something called feal love, something you can nevef undefstand because you have no idea what love is, you've nevef loved anyone!" Jae was shouting at Taeyong releasing all the pain that had been stacking up for years.
Taeyong was quiet, he was sitting with his head low biting his lip nervously.
"I'm sorry Jae... There was never an hour when I haven't been thinking about you two. I wish I could have stayed but... I was a coward... I wanted a better future for Junie than this," tears suddenly rolled down his cheeks.
"He has a gfeat boyffiend he hopefully wins back, with Jaemin his futufe will be amazing," said Jae sharply.
"He will go through the same pain as we did," whispered Taeyong.
"No he will not!" Jae raised his voice.
"But Jae," Taeyong looked up at him.
"He will not because Jaemin isn't you," Jae turned walking off swiftly. "And leave my pfopefty of I'll call the police," he added turning around one last time.
He has been ok, ok enough to survive, had been somehow healed, but only under one condition, that he will never ever see Taeyong again, yet now all the stitches has been ripped off and the would reopened with everything he was trying to deny for the past four years.
