Bella shows up at The Black's house with a tarp draping the bed of her truck. Jake and I see her pull in through the garage window both dropping our tools and running to the pale faced girl yelling, "Bella!"

She laughs forcibly as she sees us, pulling us both into her arms. "What are you doing here Bells?" I ask as I pull away from the pair.

She smirks as she excitedly drops the tailgate and someone closes the passenger side door, golden boy himself, Edward freaking Cullen. Edward waltzes back to Bella's side as if the past 4 months never happened making Jacob tense up beside me, causing a fire to burn in the depths of my stomach.

"Hello Kota. Jacob," Edward greets in a cool tone, his eyes shimmering in a new light. His typically topaz colored eyes were now a deep crimson color, so dark and ravenous that I almost mistakes it for a black color.

Bella smiled adoringly at her beloved Edward then pulls the tarp off the bed of her truck to reveal her spoils for the day,"I thought I'd bring you two some presents to thank you for being there for me when Edward was away."

When she pulled back the cover, she unveiled an odd pairing of a  gray wolf and Sam with dirt, blood and leaves covering them. They were both dead, colorless from the lack of life but something was in Sam's arms, a girl with blonde hair. Jake starts crying as if he knew the girl, falling to his knees in terror and sadness, but I'm so angry and shocked to see my lifeless brother to try and console him. I walk closer the the body of this gray wolf, that a part of me feels drawn to with a sense of familiarity, as well as my brother and the girl in his arms. I move the hair from the girl's face only to fall to the ground besides Jake when I see who's in my brother's arms.

It was me with the color removed from my face and a single bite mark on my neck.

I wake up from that dream screaming bloody murder, calling out for my brother, "SAM!"

Sam wasn't the one to answer my cries but Charlie, who looks as though he's ready to piss himself from fright. My bedroom door swings open with Charlie charging straight to my bed and begins stroking my hair, "Shhh Kota. You're okay, Sam's safe, you're safe. What happened?"

I recount the dream in explicit detail to Charlie, who keeps his hand running through my wild hair, until he kisses my forehead reassuring me that Edward wasn't coming back and that Sam was safe and so was I.

He left the room quietly as I started drifting off again but I hear him on the phone outside my room, "Hey Sam, Charlie Swan. I'm fine thank you. So is Bella for the most part. Kota on the other hand isn't doing so well. No it's not about Tala. It's about you. She feels as though you don't love her or want her in your life. You're tearing her apart so all I ask is for you to come and talk to her. Sorry to disturb you. You too."

I smile to myself as Charlie confronts my brother, who hasn't spoken to me in weeks, thanking God for giving me an Uncle you cares this deeply for me. Instead of falling back asleep I grab my dad's hoodie, my favorite pair of jeans, and one of Jake's shirts I stole from when I spent the night over Winter Break and go take a hot shower. I stand under the scorching water, allowing it to burn my skin until I couldn't handle it any longer. The bathroom was full of steam when I slowly pulled my clothes onto my body and walk slowly back to my bedroom making sure I don't wake anyone up again. I cross my clean room to sit in my bay window and watch the woods, on the forest line I see a streak of silver. I lean my forehead against the cool window pane to see that the silver streak was a wolf on the tail of a bigger black one. I sit there watching them until the sun comes up and it's time for me to go see Jake.

I pull into Jake's and am met with Jake's bright smile and an engulfing hug. "What happened to you? You look like shit," he laughs looking at the dark circles under my eyes tracing them with his thumb.

I snort pushing him backward in the direction of the garage, "Thank you so much. That's what every woman what's to hear."

I launch into my nightmare from this morning as we head into the garage to get a closer look at our new project when we hear a set of tires on the gravel drive. We get up and look out the window to see Bella's truck. Bella pulls up in her truck, a tarp covering something big in the back. Jacob runs out to meet my cousin with a huge grin yelling, "Bella!"

This is like freaking déjà vu, seeing Bella with her bed tarped over and Jake running to her. I start to have a mini panic attack so I sit on the stoop of Jake's house as Bella hops out and Jacob gives her a hug, "Bout time you came by."

"I brought you something," Bella pulls the tarp back, revealing another bike to fix up, which made my heart start beating again, "I rescued it from the dump. I know Kota got two from our neighbor to fix with you so I figured, if you'd have me, we could work on all three."

Jake looks over at me, seeing my face accepting of my cousin's newfound pastime. I nod telling Jake to say yes, he studies the bikes, "The parts alone will be pricey."

Bella thinks about Jacob's estimate, "I have a college fund I can dig into."

Jacob and I both laugh loudly chorusing, "Charlie's gonna love that."

"Charlie won't know," Bella smirks at me as if to issue a gag order.

I snort, "Wow. Lying to Dad. Blowing through college money. Repairing dangerous machines - that I'm guessing you'll want to ride"

Bella nods looking at more me than Jake, knowing that I'm more concerned for her safety than Jake because he just wants to spend time with her, "I really get it if you think this is stupid and reckless."

Jacob giggles clapping loud, "Oh it's totally stupid and reckless."

They both turn to me to hear the final verdict. As if my voice was the one that mattered most. Both sets of eyes pleading with me for different reasons than the other one but I give them a crooked smile, "When do we start?"

Bella's face spreads into something I haven't seen in a while... a genuine smile.
