At the crack of dawn, the Pack crosses into Cullen territory to observe Jasper's class on how to fight Newborns. Arriving in the agreed upon clearing about a quarter mile from the boundary line, we see the seven Cullens and my cousin. Each of us linger along the tree line as far away from them as our eyesight could allow. On my immediate right, Paul growls at the sight of the burly one, Emmett, and Emmett snarls at Paul's appearance making Rosalie and Edward chuckle. Sam locks eyes with Edward telling him that we don't trust them to be our human selves.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," Edward informs his blonde father figure.

Carlisle looks at me, smiling, "They came. That's what matters."

Bella sees Jake and I as we turn our heads toward her, "Hey Kods, Jake..." I curtly nod my head shaking my curly fur whereas Jake smiles like an idiot at her with his tongue hanging out. I snort and Sam gives Jake the 'Pull Yourself Together' look.

Carlisle looks to his gifted son, "Will you translate?"

Edward nods as Carlisle slowly steps towards Sam. I look to Edward to try and communicate with him, forgetting he doesn't know who I am in this form and that he can't read my mind, but he smirks at Jake, whose thoughts are running wild on how many ways he could murder Bella's boyfriend right now, "Hey, Jake. Welcome."

"Jasper has experience with Newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them," Carlisle explains, gesturing in Jasper's direction.

"HOW ARE THE BABY VAMPS DIFFERENT THAN THESE ONES?" I snicker to Paul and somehow Edward heard it in one of our minds because he laughs quietly to himself repeating the question more eloquently, "They want to know how the 'Newborns' is differ from us."

Carlisle nods, redirecting his attention once more to us, "They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful... ... than in our first several months of this life."

The Pack looks at each other nervous on how many innocent lives may be affected by this damn army. I look to Sam, "WAIT, SO WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN BELLA TURNS? SHE'S GOING TO FEED OR HURT SOMEONE..."

He doesn't answer me, knowing all too well that in present company this isn't the time or place for this discussion. Edward's face gave me more of an explanation and reaction than Sam did, his lips downturning at the very mention of Bella becoming like them. Carlisle nods to Jasper to take over.

Jasper hesitantly trades places with his adopted father with both the Pack's and his family's attention on him, he held himself the way a military drill sergeant would as he addressed both sides, "Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A Newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first... Never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second... Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose."

He turns his back on us, running a bit further back, "Emmett?"

His burly dark haired brother follows him, cracking his knuckles. Which made me wonder how it were possible seeing as their joints wouldn't function the same way a human's would so there wouldn't be a need to crack their knuckles. "Don't hold back," Jasper instructs, breaking me out of my spiral of thoughts regarding the differences in vampire anatomy and human anatomy.

Emmett scoffs, cracking his neck as well, "Not in my nature."

Emmett charges Jasper with inhuman speed, but Jasper is faster, easily evading his attacks as if they were playing tag. It was almost as though he possessed Edward's ability to read minds, knowing every move his brother was going to make before he made it. Emmett continues to lunge but with each attempt his strong arms grab nothing but air. Jasper stops long enough to say, "Never lose focus. One more thing... Never turn your back on your enemy."

Emmett lunges again arms empty, until suddenly he freezes. Jasper has him from behind, his teeth an inch from Emmett's throat.

"DAMN," Embry and Jared grumble together, earning throaty sounds of agreement from the rest of us.

Everyone of the Bloodsuckers take turns sparring with Jasper, or pairing off against each other. Jasper bested every single one of them, with a beautiful explanation on how they lost. Tiny Alice and Jasper spar, spiraling, twisting, like a well choreographed dance. Jasper launches at her but her eyes zone out like she does when having a vision, she sees his moves before he makes them. She finally beat him, landing on his back before he made his move, Alice is perched on his back. She kisses his neck, giggling like a harmonic wind chime, "Gotcha."

Edward and Carlisle attack one another, but Edward has an unfair advantage on his father. He reads Carlisle's mind, twirling beyond Carlisle's grasp before slamming into him with a powerful punch to the rips.

"OOF! THAT HAD TO HURT," I groan in sympathy while my brothers all yip in barking laughs, finding this amusing.

After watching for so long we've began to pace wanting to get a chance to fight but don't. Jasper comes closer to us watching his family members hit one another, "Focus on speed, agility, keep your opponent off guard...Use their momentum against them, they're still adjusting to their enhanced abilities so they'll resemble baby deer once confused. When they see you, they won't know what to do except attack, going for the kill." Jasper finishes concluding the lesson for the day, sending us back on our way to the Rez.

The next two days went the same in regards to the "How to Guide on Killing Baby Vamps". We watch, they attack each other, leaving us bored out of our minds learning all the ways the Cullens would have lost in a fight. Me and Embry made a game out of watching them though, with every fight he and I would make commentary like sports announcers.
