My best friends ear-splitting scream echoes through the social centre of our school.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WON!" she screams. Before I even have time to react she is on top of me and we are both falling to the ground. But I don't care if I'm rolling about on the ground and embarrassing myself in front of the whole school- I WON A FRICKIN' ONE DIRECTION CONTEST!
Eilidh gives me a quick hug before getting up and offering me her hand. "We need to go and find Zoe and Natasha and tell them the good news," she grins.
"What good news?" Zoe's voice sounds from behind us. We turn around to face Zoe along with Natasha, both giving us a questioning look.
Eilidh and I give each oother a look before I open my mouth. "Well nothing much. Just that I won the One Direction contest." I give a shrug.
I can't help but let a smile spread across my face at their reactions. "You what!?" they exclaim.
"I won, and I'm taking you guys with me."
I'm pretty sure that everyone is the social centre was now looking at us, jumping up and down with glee. None of my friends seemed to care about the looks, so why should I care?

"Hey Mum," I shout as I enter the house.
She appears from the kitchen. "Hi honey, how was school?"
I shrug. "It was all right."
Mum gives me a smile. "So I didn't get a chance to talk to you this morning. I was woken up at seven this morning by someone jumping around in their room," she says raising her eyebrows at me.
I raise my hand. "Guilty. I recieved a phone call..." I trail off.
"About?"
"I... erm... won the One Direction contest," I say, surprisingly managing to keep my voice calm.
My mum's face brighten's and her eyes light up as she pulls me in for a hug. "I'm so happy for you. You'll have such a great time in New York."
Instead of annoying me by asking about all the details, she was just happy for me. I have the best mum in the world.

I know, that was kind of a boring chapter. I just couldn't think of something exciting to do, so lets just call that a filler chapter. Anyway, I hope you keeep reading - I promise it will get more exciting.
I have an announcement to make also. I will be startign another story soon. But I'm kind of struggling with the name of this story, so I was hoping you guys could help me out? I have a couple of names.. 'Life... It's Complicated' or 'It's Not That Simple'.
