"Eilidh why are you smiling? Things could get a whole lot worse for me now!" I cry.
Her smile just grows even more and she playfully hits my arm. "I can't believe you kissed Nathan."
I shake my head, "No, he kissed me."
Unfortunately, this comment does not knock the smile off of her face. "I told you he liked you."
I roll my eyes at her and round the corner. My eyes widen and I turn around, shoving Eilidh back around the corner.
She stumbles, but I catch her before the falls. "What are you doing?" she scowls at me.
I put my finger to her lips as a sign for her to be quiet. I lower my lips to her ear and whisper, "Jessica is there. I don't think I'm quite ready for an encounter with her."
Eilidh gives me a disappointed look and grabs my hand. "You've got to face her some time, Rebecca, and now is as good a time as any."
I shake my head violently, but my protest dies in my throat when Eilidh drags me behind her and we walk straight into Jessica. I gulp and she turns to glare at me. I flinch, but she doesn't do anything to me.
"You can have Nathan, you slut, just don't come crying to me when he breaks your heart. You may have stolen my boyfriend but you will never steal my popularity," she growls at me.
She shoves me out of the way and walks past. I look to Eilidh to see she is just as confused as me. Why did Jessica give in so easily? I expected her to put up more of a fight for Nathan.
Eilidh throws an arm over my shoulders and says, "Never mind Becca, three more days and we'll be on a plane to New York. A plane that is taking us to One Direction."
We squeal together, jumping up and down excitedly. I stop jumping and give my best friend a hug.
"I love you Eilz. I don't know what I'd do without you. Now go home and pack your best outfits. We have to dress to impress."
She giggles at this and heads in the direction of her home. I smile to myself and walk along the roadside. A car stops beside me and the window rolls down.
"Need a ride?" Nathan asks, grinning at me.
I couldn't help but grin back at him. "Sure, why not?"

Sorry for the long wait for an update! I was away at the weekend and was forced to go and see an opera. It was the worst thing EVER! It was so boring that I fell asleep. HAHA. Oh well YOLO.
This chapter was probably a bit boring, but I just wnated Rebecca to confront Jessica before she flies halfway across the country to meer the boys :D
