Eilidh and I are both curled up in our sleeping bags on the floor. She's staying at mine for a sleep over and we're watching 'Twilight'. That's when I get a bright idea. I head over to my bedside cabinet and grab my IPod touch. I plug it into my new speakers, turn up the volume and play the selected song.

'It feels like we've been living in fast forward, another moment passing by.

The party's endin but it's now or never, nobody's goin home tonight.

Katy Perry's on replay, she's on replay. DJ got the floor to shake, the floor to shake, people goin all the way, yeah all the way, I'm still wide awake.

I wanna stay up all night and jump around until we see the sun, I wanna stay up all night and find a girl and tell her she's the one. Hold onto the feelin and don't let it go, coz we got the floor now get outta control.

I wanna stay up all night and do it all with you."

I grab Eilidh's hand and pull her out of her sleeping bag and start dancing crazily around my room. "I wanna stay up all night Eilidh!" She laughs with me and jumps onto my bed and starts doing the rock- guitar move.

I do Louis' classic 'stop the traffic, let em through' move. Eilidh gets what I'm doing and starts doing his other move which is 'pat the dog and screw in the light bulb'.

We are still doing that when my mum enters the room. She's been standing there a while before we actually notice her. I stop what I'm doing immediately but I'm not embarrassed.

"What in earth are you girls doing?" she exclaims.

"Louis Tomlinson's dance moves?" we say as if it were the most obvious answer.

"Well could you two try and keep it down a little please? I'm going to bed."

We nod in agreement and as soon as the door closes I shout, "Inbetweeners dance, GO!" We grab our own wrist, lift our left arm twice and then our right.

I give my red-haired best friend a huge hug. She gives me one back. "You know you're my best friend, right?"

"Yeah,"she replies. I don't even need Eilidh to say it back to me, because I know she feels the same. "Oooh look it's the baseball bit,"she says motioning to the TV where we are watching 'Twilight'.

We snuggle back up in our sleeping bags and before the film even has time to finish we're both fast asleep. So much for staying up all night.
