"Kocho-san?" I heard a voice from outside my room. The sun wasn't up yet and I bet it was still dawn.

"Kocho-san?" It was followed by three consecutive knocks. That's when I decided to entertain who ever was calling me from outside the room.

I didn't bother tying my hair up with a butterfly ornament and rubbed my eyes before opening the door, "Yes?" I asked.

Turns out it was Uzui Tengen, Rengoku Kyojuro, and Himejima Gyomei.

"What is it, Rengoku-san?"

"Ah, let's cut the formalities." He chuckled. "You can call us by our first names."

"Same goes with me." I smiled. It was just a right thing to do since we were fellow pillars.

"We have a mission to do, Shinobu-san." Gyomei said. That is when I realized that they were wearing their complete uniform along with their nichirin blades.

"We need to defeat demons attacking the town at the east. We'll do it with max flamboyance!" Tengen said with enthusiasm.

"Did Oyakata-sama...?" I asked them if it was his orders and all they did was nod.

"We wouldn't be back soon, I guess." Kyojuro rubbed his nape. "Anyways, thank you again!"

They bid good bye before sprinting away. They actually disappeared split second.

All right! I have 5 pillars to take care of!

The sun was still about to rise. I didn't have the urge to sleep anymore. All I did was stay at the balcony, waiting for the beautiful scenery to show up.

I just hope Kyojuro and the other pillars finish up fast.

"Can't sleep again?" A voice spoke up making me flinch a little. I turned around to see who the speaker was. Unfortunately, the place was dim. It left me no choice but to look at the person's figure.

Long hair tied in a low ponytail and a male?

I smiled at him before shaking my head, "Unfortunately, no, Tomioka-san." I turned my gaze back at the sky.

"Ah, thank you again for washing the dishes with me." I glanced at him even if the place was dim. Showing a bit of gratitude would be nice.

"Betsuni." He shortly said.

The sun was rising little by little as if it was peeking.

Without any permission or consent, Tomioka took a step beside me and looked at the sky too.

"It's beautiful." I commented out of the blue.

The golden rays of sun shone and lit up the estate little by little. The cold breeze of the morning embraced us both. All I could do was admire the sunrise.

"Very beautiful." Tomioka said.

I didn't know this guy had interests.

I shifted my gaze to the person beside me and to my surprise, he was looking at me, his gaze locked with mine.

"H-Huh?" I stuttered. A small smile formed his lips before shifting his gaze back at the sky.

I felt my ears starting to heat up as I stare at him.

"Keep your eyes at the sky. You're gonna lose the view, Kocho." He said before leaving me, dumbfounded.

His words kept repeating in my head.

"Very beautiful."

"Very beautiful."

"Very beautiful."

I let out a sigh, "I'll pretend I didn't hear that." I let out a soft laugh and looked back at the sky until the sun shined fully just like always, it was like it greeted every living creature.
