"Y-You called me by my first name!" I pointed my index finger at him. This was the first time someone called me by my first name without my consent.

"Why?"

"N-Nandemonai." I stuttered.

I stuttered! This is so not me!

"Call me Giyu." He yawned.

"Baka!" I fumed in irritation before throwing his haori at his face. Too bad, his reflexes were fast that he managed to catch the haori with his right hand.

"Nani, Kocho?" He threw an unamused look at me before throwing his haori somewhere in the room.

"Better! I prefer you calling me by my surname." I forced a smile at him.

Tomioka just stared at me. "All this time, I thought you knew nothing but smiling."

He blinked his eyes several times before closing them completely.

"All this time, I thought you knew nothing but to be a lone-" My sentence was interrupted when I saw him open his eyes and fluff his pillows, kind of ignoring my presence. "Hey! I'm talking to you." I whined as I sat on the bed where he was lying on.

"What?" He asked as he closed his eyes once more, trying to feel comfortable on the bed.

"Why did you ask Kanao to buy a hair ornament? Why did you let her run an errand for you?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Are you that lazy?"

He slightly shaked his head 'no'.

"Then why?"

"Because..." He started off.

"Because what?"

"Just because." He shortly replied.

"Because what?" I asked once more. He opened his eyes and looked at me.

The atmosphere suddenly became silent until Tomioka decided to break it.

"Did you like the hair ornament?" He asked out of the blue.

"What?"

"I asked if you liked it."

"Why?" I asked him, processing the questions.

He face-palmed and sighed, "Betsuni."

I sighed before adding, "You could have just went out and bought it yourself."

He looked at me intently before yawning again.

"You don't understand and I can't explain."

"What an idiot." I face-palmed.

Did I say that out loud?

"What?" He asked, with disbelief in his eyes.

"Hm?" I got nervous all of a sudden but still smiled at him.

"You better go, I don't like noisy butterflies." He gestured me to go outside of the treatment area.

His words made me feel insulted. Really insulted. I placed both of my hands at my hips and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Excuse me? I own this estate. You shouldn't be giving orders to me."

He looked at me and said "Okay."

That was a bland reply, yet it made me irritated once again.

"I want to decapitate you!" I gritted my teeth and pointed my nichirin blade at him.

"Too weak to do so." He stuck out his tongue before his face turned into an emotionless one again.

"Why yo-"

"Too short to do so." He added. I really want to slice him into two, if that was possible.

"You- I'll throw you off a cliff!" I pointed at him, irritated.

"I'll jump off a cliff." He mumbled.

"What?" I was startled at his random statement.

"You want to kill me, right?" He shrugged.

Then I understood what he meant.

"Oh, please do a back flip." I clasped my hands together and smiled at him, encouraging him in his death plan.

He shrugged and closed his eyes again.

"Let me rest, Kocho." He groaned before covering himself with a blanket. "I'll apologize to Kanao later."

"You better." I placed my nichirin blade back in its case before getting away from him. As I stood up, he called my name.

"Kocho." He called out once again.

"Hai?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Do you like someone?"

Badump. Badump.

"H-Huh?" I was caught off guard by his question. Is he asking me?

Honestly, I haven't thought of it either.

"Ah, nevermind." Tomioka sighed, still under the blanket.
