"Last night was exhausting." I groaned as Mitsuri continued massaging my arms.

"This isn't like you." She commented. "Why did you push yourself to train them for so long?"

I wanted to answer her question, but I kept quiet instead.

I was happy that Kanao and Genya managed to be faster than before. They improved more and more, day by day.

I can't wait for the final selection. I'm sure both of them could make it.

Tsuyuri Kanao has the same breathing technique as my sister while Genya could gain some Demonic abilities. Both of them had always been training and training. Their minds had been set that they must train in order to become a pillar some day.

Nothing could possibly go wrong.

"I'll get some tea." Mitsuri stood up and excused herself.

I was left sitting at the balcony of the estate, where the courtyard is in full view. There were butterflies flying freely. I don't know why, but for some reason, my eyes settled on the fish pond.

Should I push him at the pond the next time I see him?

I shrugged all of my thoughts and started taking my nichirin blade and wiping it clean.

Come think of it, Kyojuro and the others haven't come back from their mission yet. It has been, I think more than 3 days already.

"Kocho." A deep voice yawned from behind of me. I didn't look back at him since I knew he's just piss me off.

"In deep thoughts?" He said as he sat down beside me.

"What brings you here, Sanemi?" I asked him, not minding his question.

"Oh, nothing." He stretched his arms, "Just waiting for the others to return."

I almost forgot that they'll return today. That means more work to do. More cookings for my servants to do and more treatments for pillars to recieve. I just hope they wouldn't stress out Aoi that much.

"How about Tengen and the rest?"

"That I do not know." He laughed. "But one thing's for sure. Iguro would return today."

Before we could converse more about the other pillars, the main gate came opening wide.

"WE'RE BAAAAAACK!" I turned my attention to the main gate only to see Kyojuro running inside, having Tengen and Gyomei walk slowly behind him.

"I guess they'll all go home today." I smiled at Sanemi.

"Kocho-sama." Kyojuro stopped in his tracks and sprinted towards me. He bowed before sitting down and started talking about their mission.

"It was not a flamboyant bloodspray." Tengen massaged his temples, clearly expressing that he didn't enjoy the mission.

"I don't even know why we were called there." Gyomei calmly said. "Rengoku took out all the demons."

"All at once." Tengen yawned.

"HAHAHA! The Red Flame Sword of Rengoku will burn you down to the bone!" He stood up and started bringing out his nichirin blade and showing it to us.

"Please calm down, Kyojuro-san." I calmly said. "What took you 3 days if Kyojuro took out all the demons?"

The three pillars exchanged glances, hesitating to utter any word.

"Well?" I asked.

"We... kind of got distracted at the stores of that town." Kyojuro laughed.

"The blacksmith there caught Uzui-san's attention." Gyomei butted in. "He took one day observing the weapons."

"Hmm?" Tengen took out both of his blades and started showing it to us.

"I'd rather go to the blacksmith village. The swords we saw yesterday wasn't flamboyantly made!"

"Can you stop bringing out your blades?" Sanemi scoffed.

"I hope you wouldn't bring out yours, Gyomei-san." I smiled.

"I won't, Kocho-sama." He slightly bowed. "I'm more well mannered than these two." He said referring to the other pillars.

"Nani?!" Tengen and Kyojuro violently reacted.

"Namu Abida Butsu." Gyomei chanted.

They were obviously about to charge at Gyomei, but I honestly don't want destruction here at my place.

"I think you should all go for a rest." I told them.

They all stood up and bowed, "Arigatogozaimasu!"

I nodded and bowed also. They started walking away, heading to the treatment area.

"Sanemi." I called out.

"Nani?"

"Why do you think Oyakata-sama let all the pillars stay in the Butterfly Estate when you could all just go home to your own estates?" I curiously asked.

He looked like he was hesitating to answer. He scratched the back of his neck and looked around the place.

He breathed out heavily.

"Well..." He started off. I was listening attentively when someone barged in the estate's gate again.

"Kocho-sama!" A voice interrupted our chat.

My head instantly settled on the gate.

Muichiro first entered the estate looking really calm. He looked at me for a minute and started walking again.

"Such a fine lad!" I was startled when I heard soft squeals beside me. "Here's the tea."

"Arigato, Mitsuri." I thanked her and sipped on the cup of tea. I turned my gaze back at the gate.

"Oi! Tokito! Kocho's this way!" Obanai complained as he saw Muichiro walking straight inside the estate without even walking towards me.

They both sprinted towards me, Muichiro and Obanai.

"Kocho-sama." Obanai bowed while Muichiro remained looking at the sky. They talked about the demon that they have encountered and how strong it was, but I couldn't help but ask them something.

"Where's the other one?" I smiled at them.

Both Muichiro and Obanai exchanged glances.

"I... forgot." Muichiro sighed.

I turned my focus back on Obanai, who was staring at me.

"There." Obanai pointed the gate. "We'll take our rest, Kocho-sama."

Obanai hurriedly bowed and brought Muichiro inside with him. My gaze followed their backs until they were completely inside.

There was still no sign of the Water Pillar.

"I'll go check." Sanemi sprinted towards the main gate.

Minutes later, I gained a reaction from him.

"He's here!" I heard him shout. "Lying unconscious!"

I furrowed my eyebrows and immediately stood up. Now, Sanemi was walking towards me, carrying a figure on his back.

"Call Aoi." I immediately commanded as soon as he was already in front of me while my eyes were still focused on Tomioka's state.

Sanemi nodded and headed to the treatment area.
