Joe and dianne arrived in Australia two days ago and they were both loving it. Joe had met diannes other brother and the kids and he loved it. His first Australian Christmas was going jsut perfect.
"Joe wake up" Dianne exitidly whispered
"yeah" Joe rubbed his eyes
"it's Christmas." Dianne smiled like a five year old
Even though she was 30, she loved Christmas.
The family went downstairs and opened all the presents "santa" had gotten them and the ones the family had got. It was still early because of the kids, it was only 6:45am to be exact
"here's your present" Joe layed a small box on her lap
"it's quite small" Dianne laughed
"yeah but your going to love it" Joe smiled knowing that This present was gonna Change their life
Dianne opened the box carefully and looked inside to see that there was a small diamond ring

"what is it?" Dianne laughed definitely not expecting him to propose to her jsut a little after they have been together a year.
Joe took the ring off dianne and smiled at her
All her family where there to.
"dianne, right I know it hasn't been long but I know that this is right. Your the funniest, most beautiful, most caring person I've ever met. I know i want to spend the rest of my life with you so dianne buswell, will you marry me" He said. He was now on one knee and dianne had tears of happiness down her face.
Dianne nodded and Joe fell into her to give her the biggest hug she ever did get given. She hurried her head into the crook of joes neck and cried.
"your amazing" Dianne whispered
"no your amaizng" Joe said
He placed the ring on her finger and everyone cheered.
"congratulations dotty" A supprised rina said
"thanks mum" Dianne hugged her
Her dad didn't look that supprised but then dianne figured out that Joe ahd probably asked for his blessing which was what happened. Joe asked him on the first day of getting to Australia and Mark of course said yes because he knew that Joe was jsut perfect for her.
It was the best day of dianne life and she couldn't believe Joe did it on front of her family who she loved so much
