it will and always be forever - Joe and dianne one shots

Proposal

Joe and diannes second Australian Christmas together was well underway but Joe ahd something on his mind. It was all he was thinking about and all he wanted to do.

He walked into Mark and rina conservatory noticing mark was in there and he needed to talk to him about this. Joe started a conversation and slowly moved onto the topic. It lead to mark asking this question

"what are your intentions for your life with dot?"

"well this was what I actually wanted to talk to you about. I've been thinking alot recently about asking dianne to marry me, so if it was ok with you can I mardy your daughter?"
Joe asked shaking. He was so nervous and didn't know how Mark would react

" joe, you didn't have to ask. You've had my blessing since day one. Since before I even met you. And of course you can joe, I'd love you to marry her"
Mark smiled

"thank you, I'm going to take her to the beach tonight and I'll do it there. Do you think that's good?"
Joe asked

"anything would be Joe. It doesn't matter how you do it, just make it perfect"
Mark advised

"where are we going?"
Dianne giggled as joe lead her down wooden steps. She was blindfolded and Joe was helping her down to the beach.

Once he had guided her to where he wanted her to. He made sure she was stood exactly where she needed to be and all that before tlsing her blindfold off after the count of three.

"joe you didn't need to do this"
Dianne smiled hugging him

Joe didn't reply, he jsut smiled.

Then dianne hears the faint tune to this years love. She didn't know where it was coming from but she could definitely hear it

"may, I ahve this dance?" joe asked giving her his hand

She walked into his arms and they swayed slowly to the music. The beach was totally silent and nobody was there, it was jsut them and it was beautiful.

By the end of the song, they ended with their foreheads touching. But Joe speared them.

"dot, ever since I met you, I knew you were jsut so nice and that we would be the best of friends. But I never knew it would be more than that. And if turned out jsut perfect. So I'm glad that strictly and fate brought us together because if it didn't I wouldnt be here with you. So dianne Claire buswell.... Will you marry me? "
He said getting on one knee and getting out the ring.

Dianne couldn't stop smiling. She wasn't expecting it at all.

" yes joe... Yes "
Dianne screamed exitidly jumping into his arms

Joe placed the ring on her finger. It fitted perfectly.

He kissed her softly and she smiled.

The perfect night.....
