Joe and dianne were a very new and young couple. Joe was 20 and dianne was 21. They were never together and it was rare that they were. Joe lived with his parents in Wiltshire and dianne lived in London taking dance exams and dance teaching exams.
It was December 20th and it was dance show weekend for dianne. It was her last show before she became a dance teacher as she had passed her teaching exam. Because it was such a special day joe and his mum had come down to London and met diannes parents to watch her last ever dance show. Joe would always be in awe when he saw dianne dance, it was one of his favourite things ever.
He sat in the front row of diannes dance studio with his mum and Mark and rina with dianne before the show started. When the owner of the studio came to the font she called all the younger ones to the front to sit on the floor and the older ones sat on the sides with their families.
They went through lots of awards and then finally dianne was called up for her first.
"the winner of best team is lighting strike"
The owner said
Joe knew dianne was in this team and dianne jumped up to get her award with the 11 others and get their picture taken. She took her medal back to joe to look at and then she got called up again for the pairs award which she won with her friend Amy. They got their trophies and she toom it back to joe.
"and for their teaching exams please welcome back tot he front Amy dowden and dianne buswell"
The two twenty one year olds both went up and got their trophies which were giant.
And then that was it, they all went off to the changing room to get ready for the show...
