it will and always be forever - Joe and dianne one shots

Love

Raya sat on her little bed playing with her dolls, as quietly as she could. Her dad was downstairs thinking she was asleep and her mum was choreographing for strictly and wasn't due back for another hour. It was 8pm on a Friday night so she was allowed to stay up an hour later. Her usual bed time being 7pm.

That night raya demanded joe that she would be a big girl and go to sleep without a story or her dad in the room as long as he kept her night light on. But she was achually waiting for her mummy to get home. Dianne wouldn't normally work this late but she was called in to choreograph something which needed to be done ASAP and dianne couldn't let the team down so went in at about 2pm, leaving joe to pick raya up from school and put her to bed.

Raya played with her toys and decided she ahd enough but wanted to stay up till mummy got home so wondered over to the book shelf which was within reach for her. She picked the easiest book she could find, that being a picture book, as the 3 year old couldn't read yet. She flicked through the pictures, looking at the bright colours and patterns on the animals.
Once she decided she ahd enough of that, she crept over to her crafts box which was in the corner of the room. She opened it taking out some paper and pens, sitting on her bed and drawing her mummy a picture.
She drew dianne. With her long red hair and big brown eyes. As she was drawing the finishing touches, she heard a sound. She though it was her daddy walking up the stairs to check on her so she quickly put everything away, rushing back to her tiny 3 year old bed. But Joe didn't come in the room. After about 5 minutes she heard the voice of her daddy speaking to someone who must of been dianne. And the accent became more loud as dianne moved closer towards the kitchen which was at the bottom of the stairs. Rayas bedroom being at the top of the stairs. She heard dianne talking to joe

"she wanted to go to bed herself tonight. So I left her night light on and shes asleep"
She heard joe explain

"thank you Joseph. Bless her, I'll go and give her a kiss goodnight"
Dianne said and then she heard her mummy walking up the stairs. Rays turned over and opened her eyes, hoping she wouldn't get told off for staying up because she wants to see dianne.

She saw and heard her bedroom door open and the light from the hallway creep in. Dianne snuck in shutting the door behind her.

"hey, little one"
She smiled softly walking over to her little bed

"hello mummy, I missed you"
Raya smiled back

"I thought you were asleep. Did you stay up to see me?"
Dianne asked kneeling down next to the bed putting her hair behind her ears

Raya nodded

"well raya that's very sweet but you should go to sleep baby. Its really late"
Dianne told her daughter

"are you angry at me?"
Raya asked scared that she was going to get told off

"of course I'm not raya. You should of gone to sleep but I'd never be angry at you"
Dianne smiled

"never"
Raya said

"never little one. Your my little girl I could never be angry at you. I love you to much to be angry"
Dianne explained as easy as she could so the 3 year old could understand

"how much do you love me mummy?"
Ray's asked

"raya.... I love you so so so much. You are the most perfect daughter I could ever wish for. I fell in love with you the minute you got layed in my arms"
Dianne told her smiling

"do you love daddy?"
Ray's questioned

Dianne nodded

"so much"
She added to her nod

"how did you and daddy fall in love?"
Raya asked

"that's a long story little one. Are you sure you want to hear it?"
Dianne said

Raya nodded excitedly

"well...... When mummy and daddy were on the dancing. We were best friends and we were so close. So close that we started to notice after a whole that we were not friends. We were more than that. We started dating and we got together. Fell in love. Did many wonderful things together. We had our own dancing show, then I did strictly again and then we got married and then we had you "
Dianne told raya who listened in awe

"who do you love more? Me or daddy"
Raya questioned. There was alot of these questions tonight

"both you. I don't love one more than the other. I love you the exact same. I loved daddy right in the beginning but when you came along I fell in love with you. It was like I was in love with two people. You and your dad. Your both the best thing to ever happen to me "
Dianne said stroking the side of rayas face with her thumb softly

"who made me?"
She asked
Dianne knew this was going to ekad to something Ray wouldn't understand

"me and dad did. Me and Joseph "
Dianne said

"how?"

"well raya, that's maybe a story for when your older"
Dianne told her and then joe

Then joe walked in

He smiled at them both sitting down on rayas, placing his hand on diannes back

"right so are you going to go to sleep now"
Dianne said knowing that Joe probably wanted to have cuddles with her

"yeah"
Raya said

Layind down and shutting her eyes.

They stayed with her for 5 minutes until he was in a deep sleep and they wlakes out the room after turning of her night light.

"your so sweet"
Joe said to her

"huh?"

"I heard everything. It was adorable"
Joe told her

"I love you"
Dianne smiled hugging him

"I love raya. I love you, still after 6 years. I fall more in love with you each day"
He said kissing her lips softly before going back downstairs with there arms wrapped around each other...
