Over Protective Dad

Dianne arrived home for the Christmas break. We'll home.....
Australia was still home for her as she hadn't felt she ahd settled in the UK even though she had lived there 2 years now. It was Christmas 2018 and Joe and dianne had recently got together. Even though their relationship was young and fresh, only a couple of months, they were very much in love and it was moving quickly. But Joe wasn't spending Christmas with dianne. They had already made plans for Christmas before meeting each other and it was jsut not possible to change those plans at last minute so they were on opposite sides of the world.

Diannes sat on her parents sofa with them both either side of her.

"soooooo..... Joe?"
Rina smirked

"OK, so no, how have you been dot? How are you? You jsut want to know about Joe straight away"
Dianne laughed

"sorry dot where just so exited to find out more about him"
She added

"well......... There's jsut one word......... Amazing"
Dianne sighed smiling

"so your happy?"
Mark asked

Dianne nodded

"I've never been happier dad."
Dianne told him making both of her parents smile

"does he treat you well? We can't have you hurt again dot"
Mark questioned

"he'd never hurt me"
Dianne said

"but your in a relationship dotty. You never know"
Rina said thinking of the worst possible to happen to her daughter. She didn't want that happening

"I jsut know he would never do that. I've got that feeling"
Dianne grinned happily

"butterflies?"
Rina asked, dianne nodding

"it more than butterflies. I get butterflies and tingles and my heart beats so fast when I'm with him. He's jsut so lovely"
Dianne told them both

"so you've got that feeling aye?"
Mark chuckled

"yeah I definitely have. And I know it's only been a couple of months but I know that he's the one"
She smiled

"you can see a future with him?"
Rina added

"yeah. More than a future. I want to be with him forever and we definitely will."

"is he kind?"
Mark asked

"so many questions dad"
Dianne giggled innocently

"well I need to make sure he's the right guy dotty. You never know if he will mess up"
Mark exclaimed

"he won't. And yes, he's so kind. He's caring. He's sweet. He's lovely. He's so loving."

"how sweet"
Rina gushed

"and Carry on...."
Mark smiled to dianne

"he's jsut that kind of person that thinks about me every second of the day. Doesn't want to let go of me. Would put himself infront of me if I was targeted. Would kill anyone who dare to aly even a single finger on me, saying they will hurt me. It's the little things. He takes my makeup off for me. Puts my hair in a ponytail when I csnt be bothered. Keeps me warm at night. Spoils me to much. So yeah.... He's so loving and kind "
Dianne explained with the biggest smile you could of ever see on her face

"that's so cute dot. I'm sure he loves you very much"
Rina said and then dianne heard her phone ping

Openign up the message from joe it read

Hey princess,
I hope your having a wonderful time in Australia. I miss you so so so much it's unbelievable. I jsut want you to be here or me to be with you, so we can cuddle. Remember that you can call me, even when I'm asleep about anything. Whether it's a silly little question or you jsut need someone to chat to or because you miss me. And if you really don't like it, really csnt handle it, I am willing to come over to Australia and see you. Anyhting for you, beautiful.

Don't worry about anything baby, no matter what it is, I'm always here even if we're on opposite sides of the world. I will never leave you. So please message me if you do need me or jsut want to talk about anything.
