Joe walked up to his childhood home in Wiltshire where his mum now lived in her own. Joe was scared about what he was going to tell his mum, it was quite sad and he was worried.

He sat down in the living room with his mum sat opposite him.

"so where's my perfect daughter in law?"
Tracey asked

"she's at home"
Joe replied

"is she ok?"
Tracey said

"no, not at all"

"what up?"

"so...... Dianne had a miscarriage"
Joe told his mum. That sentence broke his heart

"awwwww, that's so sad. How far along was she?"
Tracey aksed her son who had just told her the news

"eight weeks. She's not ok. I'm quite worried about her"
Joe said looking down

"how upset is she?"
Tracey asked

"crying every day all day, shaking, jsut wants to stay in my clothes, emotional,not waning to move or eat or drink. I'm worried"
Joe told her

"awwww bless her. She mus be so upset as well as you."
Tracey said

"I... Cant... Seem to get get her happy again. I've tried everything. Buying her whatever she wants, takeaways, flowers, chocolates and she jsut issnt right"

"I can't imagine the pain she's going through"
Tracey said grabbing hold of her sons hand

"dotty I'm back"
Joe shouted walking through the door

He heared nothing from her so walked upstairs and saw her I there huge bed all curled into a ball by her self asleep. Joe looked at her and felt so upset. His heart was breaking. They could of had a child.

Joe claimed into bed next to her and put his arm round her and played with the ends of her hair

"j... Joe"
He heared a quiet voice

"hello baby, had a nice sleep"
He aksed his girlfriend

"yeah"
She smiled

"how are you feeling?"
Joe said

"better"
She whispered

Joe was happy she was getting better but she still wasn't totally right
