It felt like a normal day. I kept myself busy buying things from town. I'd managed to get the old refrigerator to run pretty well, and it stayed only a little hotter than it should be, so at least now I was able to get cold food.
I bought a painting that was in the back of a little mom and pops store. I'm not exactly sure what drew me to it... I don't usually buy art. I think that maybe it was the way the palm trees blended with the sky in the watercolor. Maybe because it will lighten up the house.
I met a few people at different places in town. I hadn't heard back from any of the jobs I applied to... but I couldn't expect to so soon.
Right?
