"He chewed up the lamp cord," Sam laughed a little. I liked his laugh. At least he came every couple days or so. I'd be so bored otherwise. "So I guess that means I'll have to hide the other cords..."
I tried to smile. I tried to move my hands. It didn't work. It was dark now, but when they had to revive me, it was bright. Like a shock wave. Like lightning. I think I died.
"I think Zeus was a good name for him, though. Ironic, but good."
He'd told me a lot. I'm glad he was taking careof Zeus, my little wimp. I was worried when so much time passed that he wouldbe stuck in the house, with no food, and nobody to look out for him. I'm gladSam was around.
