Fact number seven: Dogs smell when they get wet. I never had a dog, so I guess I wasn't thinking when he started running through the waves that were splashing my ankles.
When we got back home, of course, I noticed that notorious wet dog smell you hear about a lot.
Maybe I should have thought this through.
