Salam guys. Thanks for your prayers may Allah reward you.🥰🥰

Irfan rushed into the hospital with his frail wife in his arms, the nurses had been informed already, so when they arrived at the National hospital she was immediately wheeled to the ER.

Irfan and Imran kept flailing outside the room, restlessly.
"Why are they taking so long?"  Irfan asked Imran. He said with raw tears.
Just then the doctor came out and said she needed blood, she had lost a lot of blood, and has an internal injury that needed to be attended to immediately...
"Doctor is sure mine will do," Irfan said impatiently. "Okay then,  let us get you tested." And when they did the doctor said his blood could be used.

"Doctor please how is my wife?"
"Just keep praying, she is unconscious now."
Irfan was mute, he couldn't even react, he didn't even know when the doctor left. It was Imran that assured him that everything would be fine.
Just then Hal and Sultana came in.
"How is she? any news?" They said agitated...

"There is no news, the doctor said she has lost a lot of blood, Irfan gave him hers, and she is unconscious that is all we know for now," Imran explained.

They looked at Irfan who was standing in one corner his back resting on the wall, his eyes were desolate, brimmed up with tears, his clothes smeared with his wife's blood all over.

"I just pray she and the baby are going to be fine," Sultana said in tears.
Irfan's eyes widened in shock and realization. "What baby?"  He asked looking at Sultana bemused.
"Your baby Irfan, she is pregnant."
"She is pregnant?"
"Yes she is, she didn't tell you?"
"No, she didn't, I don't know why..."
How wouldn't he know why? How come I never knew? He asked himself.

Sultana was still stupefied at the thought that Irfan didn't know his wife was carrying his child, it had been almost a month since she found out she was pregnant. Sultana thought in her mind. "Maybe she didn't have the perfect time to tell you Irfan," Hal said, trying to clear Sultana's doubt that, that was the reason.

"No! No! it is my fault, it is all my fault that I don't know, I never listened to her, I never gave her a chance."
All of them were looking at him bewildered.. were the two having problems in their marriage?   They all thought, but everyone kept to their thoughts. That was not important now.
"You need to calm down bro, nothing will happen to her, now more than ever you have to be strong to take care of your wife and unborn child okay," Imran said.
Irfan couldn't reply, his face was raw with unshed tears.  He looked so fatigued, his eyes were puffy, the first three buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned. He ran his hand all over his hair in distress. He still couldn't comprehend that his wife was carrying his child, and he had no idea...

This is messed up now. He recalled how she was throwing up that night, and that other day, he recalled saying that they would go to the hospital the next day... Unfortunately,  that was the day their lives altered, and it led them to this day.
Her parents arrived shortly, with Afrah and Amal. "What happened to Nasreen?"
Hajia Hajara asked impatiently. Seeing Irfan's physical state she knew all was not well,
They both listened as Imran narrated their part of the story...

"Oh! Ya Allah, my baby must have gone through a lot."  Mr. Sulyman said, tearing up a bit. Hajia Hajara could not contain her tears as they outpoured. Her parents both let silent pleas to their lord.
They all sat down waiting for anybody that emerged from the ER... Afrah and Amal couldn't control their tears it was hard for them to fathom the fact that something was going to happen to her, cause they all had a great time last week, they never saw it coming.

After Forty minutes of agonizing wait, the doctor and two nurses came out...
They all hastily stood up...
"How is she, doctor?" They said in unison.
