😇😇 How are all of you my good readers, hope you are doing great and staying safe...
Nasreen was about to pull over, when she saw a silhouette from afar that looked like Muhsin, he was walking with Amani, she was so sure that it was Amani, but she wasn't sure if it was Muhsin, they both came out from a corner of the street, and Amani was walking lethargically, the man held her for support.
She decided to call him to be sure, so she dialled his number, she was still looking at them, to see if he would pick up his phone but he didn't. They had reached the far end of the street, where she couldn't sight them anymore.
A curious Nasreen came down from her car and went to the corner where they emerged from, it was a tatty and dingy place she wondered if people lived there. She wondered what Amani was doing there.
A girl of about eighteen walked past her, she walked as if she didn't have blood in her body. Nasreen saw that she wanted to fall, so she gripped her protectively.
"Easy there, what is the matter with you?" Nasreen scanned her appearance. She saw she was bleeding.
"You are bleeding." "Yes I know, I just had an abortion." She said blandly. "You had an abortion?""Yes I did, look I have to go am in pain, I wonder how the other lady must be feeling."
"What other lady?" "She just left, you didn't see her." "Oh yes, I did see her."
"Sorry dear, you shouldn't have abortions it is bad for your health." "Look young lady don't preach to me, I know it is bad okay, or is that not what you are here for?"
"I just wanted to know the lady that does it, if she does it well?"
"She gets the job done, but it is so painful, oh my God it hurts a lot.""Let me, I'll drop you off, you can't go home like this."
"Thank you but I can manage on my own."
"Are you sure, let me get you a taxi then?" Nasreen helped her to the street, and stopped a taxi, she paid the taxi driver and they zoomed off.
Nasreen stood there, with a fleeting of emotions, wondering why Amani would have Irfan's baby aborted, or maybe Irfan knew about the abortion. She knew Irfan would never want his child dead.

Hey what's up, I haven't heard from you in two days now, hope you are fine? Irfan read the text message from Amani. So he called her."Hello, Amani how are you?"
"Hi Irfan, I've not felt well lately."
"Really, what's wrong, have you gone to the hospital?"
"No, I haven't yet?"
"What are you waiting for then?"
"Nothing, when I am a bit stronger I will go."
"Okay take care, let me just send you some money."
"No, it is alright Irfan, the last one you sent is okay."
"No Amani, let me add it, in case if anything
comes up."
"Okay then, thanks Irfan.." He didn't know what he was going to do when Amani had the baby, was he going to marry her, or was she going to raise the child alone, he was defused. He needed Nasreen now more than ever to put him in the right way.*****
The white fluffy clouds dotted the azure blue sky, the sun beamed radiantly, casting a golden glow upon the earth, the sultry breeze blew, rustling the leaves, Nasreen stood at the balcony, gazing into nothingness, watching two birds chirp, she wondered what they were saying to each other, she smiled watching the birds as if she understood their language. She imagined the birds were professing their love for each other. She was distracted, she saw a car pull over in front of her apartment, from the balcony upstairs, the person she saw come out of the car, made her knees weak, she trembled, as stark terror sharpened her senses, with a force of adrenaline, She screamed, her son's name, and ran downstairs.
