"Aviana, right?" I jumped, looking up to see hazel eyes staring into mine.

Pulling back a bit, Chris straightened his stance before handing a McDonald's bag towards me. I only stared at it in confusion, shifting uncomfortably in the chair I was sitting in. He stared at me intently for about three seconds until he placed the bag in front of me on the table then proceeded to sit down next to me.

"Figured after Jonah and I ruined your lunch yesterday I'd bring you a lunch today." I made a face as he leaned back in the chair, resting his feet on the table.

"This is a library, not your house." He glanced my way and I pointed towards his feet.

I raised an eyebrow at him causing him to huff out in annoyance before bringing his legs down all while rolling his eyes. I went back to working on my homework then sighed when he poked me in the side.

"Are you going to eat?" I turned towards him, closing my notebook.

"This is a library, you're not supposed to eat in here, let alone bring food in here." He smirked, slowly sliding the bag closer to me.

"And? Break the rules for once, Avi." I picked my backpack up, shoving my notebook in it before zipping it up.

"Only friends call me Avi, you're not my friend." He groaned, grabbing my arm as I went to walk away.

"Wait, I'm sorry, Aviana. At least eat it, I risked getting detention for you." I stared at him, crossing my arms while he stood up.

He picked up the bag, motioning for me to start walking. I did, walking as slowly as I possibly could, but it didn't faze him. I don't know why I was acting like this, he didn't do anything to me. Well, besides knocking me to the floor yesterday.

"Can I ask you something?" I shrugged, pushing the door open to the quad.

"Why are you so hostile towards me?" I glared at him, letting him lead me to a nearby table.

"I'm not, I'm just... okay, maybe I am. I don't really know you and you're over here talking to me now when I went to school with you since we were five." He nodded, sitting down at the table.

"I know, you weren't invisible to me. You're always quiet and I didn't want to bother you." I sat down next to him, watching as he started to pull the food out.

"Then why bother me now?" He smiled, throwing a few ketchup packets in front of me.

"Because I want to and you seem interesting." I rolled my eyes slightly moving away from him.

I looked around noticing his other half wasn't with him.

"Where's your friend?" He tapped his hand against the table, a small dimple showing on his cheek.

"Detention, now eat." He pointed towards the food and I picked up a french fry.

"How do I know you didn't poison it?" Picking up a french fry, he inspected it before putting it in his mouth.

"I didn't, why would I poison you?" I didn't say anything, rolling my eyes as I saw Tara staring at me from across the quad. She didn't say anything, just made a crude gesture before walking away.

"You didn't get me a drink..." He chuckled, grabbing another french fry.

"I did, I just dropped it. Seriously, I tripped over the stupid curb and went flying forward." I held in my laugh as he moved his hair a bit, showing a small cut on his forehead.

"I hit my head against the floor for you." I tilted my head to the side, admiring him.

"Thank you." A small smile illuminated his features

"I'll see you later." He winked at me then walked away.

When I got to class both Jonah and Chris were already in their seats and they both seemed to be engaged in an interesting conversation. They immediately stopped talking as I approached my seat, both staring at me intently. I smiled warily, carefully putting my backpack down before sitting down next to Chris.

"How are you today?" I furrowed my eyebrows, looking away from Jonah as I took my notebook and pencil pouch out of my backpack.

"Uh, good... how was detention?" Chris snickered, covering it up with a cough.

Jonah glared at him, shaking his head, "Same as usual." I raised an eyebrow at him, except he didn't elaborate and instead faced forward.

"You see, Jonah is in a mood. It's that time of month." I laughed, watching as Jonah turned towards us, narrowing his eyes at Chris, but there was a slight smile making its way onto his face.

"Fuck you, Chris." He chuckled a bit, looking back at me.

"Jonah is just upset that his girlfriend dumped him." I glanced at Chris then back at Jonah ready to gauge his reaction, but he only smirked.

"At least I've had a girlfriend." Chris flipped him off, opening his notebook to a new page.

"I can't be the only one who hasn't dated, what about you, Avi?" I sighed, pulling out a pen. I liked it better when they were bickering among themselves and now I'm dragged into this. Great.

"No, I haven't. I haven't even had my first kiss yet." I cringed, looking down as both boys made an audible gasp.

Why did I just say that?

"You're serious? You do know that even most thirteen year olds have had their first kiss, right?" I rolled my eyes, staring at Jonah in amusement as Chris leaned over and smacked him.

"Leave her alone, J. She's just waiting for the right guy." I ignored them, copying down the notes on the slides our teacher was showing.

"I'm not waiting, I just never cared for one." Chris nodded in understanding while Jonah looked up in thought.

"So... you're a virgin?" Chris kicked the back of Jonah's seat, giving him a warning look.

"Leave her alone. Damn, I sleep around and shit, but you actually settle down and get girlfriends, yet you're the perv." I glanced between both boys noting the differences between them.

Jonah wore colorful clothes and Chris was a mix of black, white and grey. That was it. It was odd, but even weirder since Chris seemed like the crude one and Jonah seemed like the nice one. Total opposites.

"So, want to go out?" I blinked, looking at them both as they said it simultaneously.

I didn't say anything, just stared at them in shock. What was I supposed to say?
