JONAH

"Wanna go for a swim?" I smirked, pointing towards the lake while Aviana sat down on the blanket I brought.

"Uh... no thanks, I don't know what's in there or if it's even clean." I laughed, moving to sit down next to her.

We stayed quiet for a while, just staring at the lake. It was nice and peaceful, something I haven't felt for a while. It's something I haven't felt since Emma, but Aviana was different.

"I need to tell you something." She glanced my way, a curious expression on her face.

"My parents want you to come over for dinner." Her eyes slightly widened, and I sighed, laying down.

I was slightly embarrassed at the fact that she might think I told my parents about her or something. I mean, I did, but it was a casual mention. She was a new friend, which I told them. They interpreted it differently, thinking it meant she was my girlfriend. She obviously wasn't, maybe someday, hopefully.

"Oh, when?" I let out a breath, blocking my eyes from the sun.

"Tomorrow night, you don't have to. I can make up something." I murmured it, not wanting to sound like I was forcing her to go.

"No, I'd like to go. I can explain how inappropriate you are." She playfully said it, poking my cheek as she laid back.

"I'm not, you are. Remember earlier? You thought I wanted you to suck my d-"

"Okay! We don't need to go over what happened earlier." I laughed, glancing at her to see her cheeks a deep pink.

"Well, anyway, my parents said you could come over around eight... are you sure you wanna go?" She immediately nodded, giving me a small smile.

"What should I wear?" I licked my lips, looking away from her.

"Anything you want, it doesn't matter. You look good in everything." She snorted, turning on her side.

"Then I'll come wearing a trash bag, since, you know, I look good in everything." She dramatically flipped her hair, causing me to laugh.

Rolling my eyes, I stood up and held my hand out towards her. "Come on, let's go for a swim." Sitting up, she shook her head.

"Like I said before, I don't know if that water is clean. Plus, I don't have anything to go swimming in." I didn't budge, still holding my hand out towards her.

"The water is clean and aren't you wearing anything underneath your clothes?" She narrowed her eyes at me, crossing her arms.

"Of course I am, but what makes you think I'm going to undress myself just to go swimming? There's no way in hell I'm going to let you see me half naked." I shrugged, not really caring.

"Okay, then come in fully clothed." I knew she was close to giving in, so I decided to give her a little push.

I pulled my shirt off then my shoes before moving to take my pants off, but she stopped me and stood up.

"Wow, Jonah, I didn't know you were a stripper." I chuckled, tossing my shirt towards her, which she ended up catching.

"I'm still not going in with you." I raised an eyebrow at her as a challenge, and she narrowed her eyes at me.
