"Jonah!" I yelled, holding back my laughter as he tickled me.

It was after school on Friday and we were waiting for Chris to finish talking with his French teacher about doing something other than his project for a grade. Tara was busy stalking one of her celebrity crushes on Instagram, not caring that Jonah was torturing me

"I will kick you!" Jonah stepped back in surrender, holding his hands up.

I sighed in relief as Chris came out of his class with a wide smile on his face, "She said I could do an alternate assignment." Jonah cheered, giving Chris a quick high five.

"See, all you had to do was ask." Chris rolled his eyes at me, quietly thanking me.

Tara finally got off Instagram and turned towards me, "Okay, one of you text Avi the address to the party tonight and we're going to leave to go get ready." I groaned, not really wanting to leave the two boys just yet.

"We'll see you two later!" She yanked me after her, nearly dislocating my shoulder.

"Are you serious, Tara? The party isn't until tonight a-"

"I know, we need to talk about Jonah and Chris. Alone." I followed after her to the student parking, wondering why she wanted to talk about them.

She walked to her car, looking for her keys in her backpack. I patiently waited, crossing my arms while she started muttering profanities to herself.

"Maybe you should check the other part." She sarcastically laughed, unzipping the other compartment.

"Won't you look at that." I smiled when she flipped me off, her keys in her hand.

When she unlocked her car, I opened the door and took off my backpack, laughing a bit as Tara dropped her keys. I got into the car, putting my backpack on the floor then closed the door.

As soon as Tara got in, she immediately looked my way, "Chris and Jonah have feelings for you." I laughed, pulling the seatbelt on.

"Um... okay, I'm pretty sure everyone has feelings for someone." She slapped my arm, moving to get her seatbelt on.

"I know, dumb ass. I mean they like you, as in, they want to date you. It's pretty obvious." I rolled my eyes, leaning my head against the window.

"You're going to have to do something about it soon, Avi. Do you like one more than the other?" I didn't answer her, staring forward while she pulled out of the parking spot.

"Aviana?" I clenched my jaw, looking towards her.

"I don't know, Tara. I like them both equally, I do not want to date either of them. At least, I don't think I do." She glanced my way, making me sigh.

"Jonah... I think I like Jonah more." I muttered it, feeling heat rush to my cheeks.

She turned out of the parking lot, biting her lip, "Maybe you should do something about it now, that way things don't get complicated." I kept quiet, not really understanding this whole thing.

How could things get complicated? Chris said nothing could get between him and Jonah, not even a girl. So, why would this be any different?

"Kiss Jonah tonight." Tara whispered it in my ear, pointing towards Jonah where he was busy making a drink.

I bit my lip, moving to go walk over to him, but stopped when Chris stepped in front of me.
