3rd person POV:

Shuichi ran up to the toilets in a hot pursuit. He looked as though he had heard his family had died.

"C'mon I need to get there..!" he muttered, "C'mon c'mon c'mon...!"

Kaede's POV:

I ran after Shuichi as he ran to the stalls, I could see him slow down with each step he took, while I sped faster and faster.

He dropped down.

Luckily I was a second behind him and caught his head before he got injured.

But I was crying,

why would he come if he knew he was sick? I didn't see the need for that. He would've been safer at home.

"G-guys! Wait! He fell!" I called for help

Nobody came... 

Kaito and Maki finally came out of the Arcade as if hearing my sobbing.

"Kaede? Whats wron- Whats going on with Shuichi?!" Maki seemed worried, Kaito was silent , for once I heard her in a not monotone voice, a shocked one. "Hey! Shuichi! Wake up! Wake up or I'll kill you!" She panicked. "Damn. I'm taking him to his house. Do you know where it is?" I nodded and led the way over. I must admit, if it wasn't for Kaito's driving I wouldn't think he had a chance.

"Stop! This is the place!" I shouted.

"Alright, Kaede take him inside, does he have his keys?" Kaito spoke for the first time, he spoke softly.

"Let me check... He does. Thank you guys." I sobbed

"No problem, call us if he gets worse." He called out.

I went up the stairs and found what looked like his room,

"Damn it Shuichi, you could've told us... before you came... why...? Why...?" I cried.

"K-kaede...?" he spluttered.

I immdiatley wrapped him in an tight embrace, I didn't want to look back at anything, he was sick and he didn't tell me.

"W-why didn't you tell me?!" I sobbed

"I didn't want to worry you too much, I wanted the others to have fun." He tried to plaster a smile but it didn't work, it just made me cry harder.

"Kaede, I don't like it when you cry. Please, cheer up." he managed to smile this time.

I tried to smile while he lay there.

"Are you sure you're okay then?" I sniffed.

"Yeah, I think I'll do okay..!" He cheerfully said, "Also um... uh.... I-" (lol editors note: her boobs were ontop of his face) 

I blushed knowing what he was trying to say.

"I'm sorry! E-eh!!" I flushed, he chuckled.

"Thats the Kaede I know." he teased

"H-hey! Thats not fair!! I was in a very vulenerable position!!" I blushed.

We sat there for a few seconds and then realising the situation we were in.

Think about it for a second.

Two lovers sitting in ones bedroom, on the bed, weirdly close to eachother, both blushing.

"Uh- I- um." I stuttered, "I-i be leaving no-"

"No wait. Stay please." Shuichi grabbed my arm, not tightly but enough for me not to leave.

Wait-

does that mean?

He wants to? But he's waiting for me????

I can feel myself burning up, I lose all my confidence when I'm around Shuichi. I just feel like he'll protect me.

I shuffle back next to him as he sits up.

We joke about a few things for a while until it gets late.

"Oh yeah!" I jolted up.

"Hm?" Shuichi was confused.

"Oh, Kaito and Maki helped bring you here. Sooo I promised I'd call them if something happens." I rambled

"Oh. Okay."

I call Maki and she answers the phone as soon as it starts ringing.

"OH MY GOD KAEDE IS HE OKAY IM LITERALLY SHAKING WE'RE GOING TO THE LOSE THE ONLY NOT IDIOTIC BOY AND KAITO IS GONNA BE DEPRESSED." She shouts in my ear.

Shuichi jestures in my way to signal he wants to talk to her so I figure to give her a surprise.

"Hey Maki." He spoke.

"SHUICHI JESUS CHIRST YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME THIS IS NOT FUCKING FUNNY I WAS GOING TO FUCKING STAB MIU." Screamed Kaito and Maki in unision.

"H-hey guys! Calm down, I'm with Kaede." He spluttered.

"Okay, but never do that again or I'll rip your fucking face off."

She ended the call.

"Well then. So Shuichi. When is your uncle coming back? It's been ages actually." I asked.

"On Saturdays he goes on court cases, that can usually take days." He answered pretty bluntly.

"That seems like hard work! I'm picturing you doing that!" I did my signature

"Yeah thats true. Well, better get married soon~!" I jumped

"H-huh?! Kaede?!" He blushed

"Payback!" I giggled.

"That makes us even then. Anything you wanna do?" He asked.

"Hm..." I think hard, then my cheeks light up in a rosy pink.

He reads my face for a second then comes to his conclusion.
