PIPER's POV

Two weeks had passed since the day of the deal.

Just as Piper was preparing to go to bed, she received a text from Jason.

Using any form of technology was dangerous for half bloods, but ever since Leo had created a new form of a shield that was inserted in the form of a tiny chip into their respective phones /gadgets, which disguised the demigods as normal mortals- so the monsters couldn't track them via the waves from a gadgets.

Jason: Hey, McLean, free tomorrow morning?

Piper frowned. In totality, she'd completely forgotten about the deal.

Piper: Uh, yeah. Why?

Jason: Aw, you forgot?

Piper: Yes. Care to remind me? -_-

Jason: Remember our deal? We were supposed to fight...with swords. Anyway, I found a good place for it.

Piper smiled. She would enjoy this.

Piper: Where?

Jason: Near Central Park there's this really old, kind of broken down house under construction. Meet me at CP @ 6am.

Piper: So much research just to get your ass kicked?

Jason: Please. I'm good at swordplay.

Piper: The girl always wins, dear. The girl.

Jason: Let's see ;)

Piper didn't reply; she switched off her phone (even with the chip one couldn't take the risk) and got ready for the night.

She had a dream.

No, not demigod ones. A memory of the past, of a happier time.

Piper and Jason were in a sunny kitchen, Jason chasing Piper around the kitchen counter, face smeared with chocolate. Piper was laughing; she was clearly the culprit, a ladle spoon with melted chocolate dripping from it. Her belly was swollen; the first trimester was almost over and Piper was safe, no risk of losing the baby.

Finally Jason caught her from behind, and gently wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Haha, caught you," he whispered in her ear, sending shivers and tiny static shocks through her.

"Fine, whatever. You only won because I'm preggers, Grace."

"What? No."

"Of course you did." She charm spoke, and momentarily he nodded, before he shook his head and narrowed his eyes.

"You little minx," he said, his voice ringing with fake menace. Piper turned around and pressed her forehead against his.

"A month more maybe and I won't be able to do this," she whispered, looking into his icy blue eyes. He smiled and kissed her warmly.

"Don't worry, I'm sure I'll find a way. I find that I'm able to do many things when motivated."

"And what motivates you?"

"Your lips are the tastiest things I've ever tasted, Pipes."

"Shut up!" She laughed, but kissed him for a long time, before she got tired of standing on her toes.
