A week since Alexis' birth.

Jason sighed as he tied his bow tie. He looked OK, although dressing up for Leo's wedding reminded him of the time when he was doing the same for HIS.

Piper and he were on better terms- at least, he hoped so- although they hadn't talked at all since Alexis' birth. Strangely, even while preparing for Leo's wedding, they didn't crash into each other or anything. Weird.

Truth was, he didn't KNOW what they were- in a relationship? OK-OK? Kinda together yet still separated? Last option seemed to be the best.

He was the best man at Leo's wedding- kinda like a reverse role, since Leo had been his at his wedding. It was a different feeling for sure.

Running his hand through his hair one more time, he left the room and went over to Leo's, where the groom himself looked his cheery best- as usual, although Jason could see a nervous outlook to him. His fingers were rapidly tapping his trouser pants, and his curly hair was oiled back and he looked dashing- and no, Jason wasn't thinking that sarcastically. Leo actually looked cool. Jason wondered how Calypso would look.

It was going to be a Christian/Greek wedding- a mix and match of sorts, wherein the girls would be in Greek dresses (even Annabeth) and the guys in the normal suit and tie. Jason was eager to see Piper in a Greek dress- the last time he'd seen her in one was in Ithaca, during the time of the Giant uprising and Gaia and all. She had looked beautiful then, and Jason had no doubt she'd look beautiful now.

"Man, help me out here," Leo muttered, losing some of his grin. Jason smiled.

"Relax ,Leo. Its nothing new; you and Calypso have literally been living together for ten years! The only difference would be that she'd become Mrs. Valdez and they'll be a permanent ring on your finger."

"I know, but..." Leo pinched his nose and took a deep breath, then flashed a guilty look to Jason. "Its just that..I'm really sorry for bringing this up, but I keep thinking, if, um, something like you-"

Jason knew what Leo was asking, and he wasn't offended. Out of all the Seven, only he and Piper had the real 'idea' of what marriage was; they'd been married the longest. Both of them had good times and a LOT of bad times, so technically speaking they were more experienced- and Leo loved technicalities.

"Listen, Leo, I know it looks bad- I never thought Piper and I would ever, well, break up, but...it happened- we forgot to live for each other, man- and I was too freaking involved in other things to care about US. But you and Calypso, you both are different- and I've never seen a more dedicated person in love than you before, Leo, not even Percy or me. So stop thinking of what's going to happen- think about the NOW. Just go ahead and have a beautiful Leotastic life."

Leo smiled, but then it turned into a smirk, after he apparently saw something behind Jason's shoulder. Jason turned. It was Piper- minus hot Greek dress, wearing normal shirt and jeans. She was smirking as well, although her eyes seemed to show real emotion.

"Well, thanks, Grace. I'll see ya later." Leo said, having had the practice of leaving those to alone when needed. He walked out and disappeared.

"You aren't ready yet?" Jason said.

"I know, got up really late, plus, its tough to get Josh into a suit AND teach him how to bear the rings." Piper smiled. "You look dashing, Jason."

For some reason, Jason blushed. Of course, he knew he was good looking, but Piper saying it had always been a big deal to him- it was like getting approved by Aphrodite herself.
