SAD. VERY SAD.

#NOHATE for this, OK?

Damn, this is going to get sad as shit. I have no clue how to write these fight scenes. I'm just blindly writing something that I hope will make you guys cry (I'm not being sadistic).

After a lot of thought, I decided to put in that arm twisting thing I mentioned in SF Ch13. Here, Jason may look like a bad guy. Don't hate me for it (although I'm not Jason's biggest fan). Lot of curse words.

Ok, shutting up now. Cry.

"Do you really have to go?" She asked for the umpteenth time. Jason squeezed his eyes shut and tried not to get annoyed. She was a new mother after all. She probably forgot that she'd already asked this a number times before.

This was his rational mind speaking. But his emotions, oh gods, they wanted to break, break through his careful restraint and just tell her to lay off him.

When Jason and Piper had finally settled with college, jobs, and marriage, Jason decided to see to his promise- to continue his project, to make shrines and temples to all the gods. It was hard, and sometimes it felt like a pain in the ass, but then he thought about the alternative- that if he didn't, some other baddie would pop up, declare war on the gods, and said minor gods would go and make the demigods' life hell again. Having been in conflict with these monsters since a young boy, Jason wanted to avoid another quest or a fight for the next 3 lifetimes. If he was born as a demigod next life.

"I told you, Pipes, it is important."

"But, c'mon, Grace! You haven't spent time with Josh! Or me! I get this is all very important to you, but aren't we more-"

"Don't you get it, I don't want to keep it waiting anymore!" He snapped, turning around and glaring at her. Piper, who had been giving Josh some baby formula (mixed with nectar), looked up in surprise. Josh also look startled, like having such loud noises was abnormal.

Seeing Josh's face like that made Jason back down.

"Sorry...I just..."

"You just what? Thought you could yell and I'll listen?" She snapped. Her tone made the anger come back.

"Hey, no need to get all snappy at me, McLean."

"Can't blame me. Blame the stupid hormones."

"To hell with that excuse, you've been using it for a month now."

"And I can use it however much I want, Grace. What's your excuse for acting like a jerk?" She glared at him. He tried not to stare at her eyes. But he couldn't help himself, and at that moment he realized that they did nothing to calm him down, that swirling pattern. In fact, it just made him more annoyed that he couldn't decide the stupid colour of her eyes once and for all.

"I can act whatever the way I want."

"No, you can't. I have a reason, however much I've used it. You?"

"Fine, I need to get this project done, and you can't stop me! I need to judge the space I need for the shrines!" He snapped, standing up.

She stood up too, standing with her arms crossed. A month since Josh was born, and she looked perfect, not weird. She'd taken to jogging everyday, and taking Josh on a stroll. "Jason, just make the damn shrines. It just has to be one. You don't have to make elaborate structures." She rolled her eyes.

He hated how she didn't take his promise to Kymopoleia seriously, like it was a joke. She didn't say it outright, but he knew her well enough to know that if she had been in his place, she wouldn't have spent so much time and energy on the shrines like he was.
