(Mumbo's POV)

Lie Detection? "Handy, I suppose.", Mumbo thought.

But what was the point when Jevin can LITERALLY read people's minds?

Not fair.

"Deep breaths, Mumbo.", he thought to himself.

X had put down the book, and asked if anything was worth adding.

None raised their hands.

"Well then, we've got ourselves an interesting week. Enjoy yourself.", X finished.

There was a reason why Mumbo doesn't really talk to X.

Was his full name pronounced 'Zy-ooma?'

Or 'Ex-ooma?'

His accent can be fusterating.

When everyone went off to leave, he called out to Grian. "Wait, Grian?"

Grian turned around. "Uh, yeah Mumbo?"

"Why do you and Iskall have dragon heads?"

Grian smirked a little bit.

"We both pranked each other. This was the result.", he explained.

Mumbo gasped and laughed.

"THIS is why I don't go to meetings."

Grian then frowned.

"What's wrong, Grian?", Mumbo asked.

"There's something behind you.."

Mumbo turned around, and behind a bush, he saw a man in jet black armor with redstone red eyes. He had a sort of evil red glow around him.

"Huh. Did X decide to bring Evil X back?", Mumbo thought aloud.

The man, noticing them, widened his eye and zoomed off.

Grian replied with, "I don't think Evil X had a glow OR black armor."

Mumbo thought about it. "I think you're right. Let's ask X!"

(Grian's POV)

X wasn't too far away, luckily.

Grian and Mumbo found him thinking and holding one of his totems thoughtfully, leaning against a tree.

"X-I-zooma!", Grian called out, butchering out X's name.

X looked up.

"Oh! Hey! Did you need anything?", he greeted.

Mumbo landed and Grian did a second after.

"We saw a man who kind of looked like you. He had black armor and a red pair of eyes and aura.", Mumbo explained.

X's eyes widened. "N-no! It can't of been him! It must've been a 'spirit!' You know, like the unexplained people here?", he stuttered.

Grian looked at Mumbo in confusion.

"Do you know him?", he asked.

X sighed.

"His name is Slayer. He's an alter ego I used during the war."

Grian gasped as a memory flowed through his mind.

"So THAT'S why you looked more vicious during the PvP period of the war!" , Grian exclaimed.

X nodded his gray helmet.

"Slayer is my strongest alter-ego, and the third most dangerous Alter-Ego ever created. It would be terrible if the Alter-Egos got themselves free.." X trailed off near the end.

"Got themselves free?", Mumbo asked, confused.

"Who are the most and second most dangerous Alter-Egos?", Grian piped up.

"Whenever an 'Ego' is not in use, they are trapped in a prison I made for them deep down below the surface. It has lasted a long time, but I don't know how long it will be until we get invaded.", Xisuma continued.

He looked down at his gray armor. "That would also include the fact that the original 'Egos' of all the demised hermits-like me-are down there. All the 'Egos' share almost the same personality or looks, but there is an edit in both cases.", he elaborated.

"Like, for example: All of my 'Egos' have the same base personality; poised, respectful, and loyal. But this one-my Demise 'Ego'- has more of a taste for destruction.

Grian frowned.

"But that has nothing to do with my que-"

X cut him off with a raised hand.

"Alright, alright! I'll answer it! Patience!", X laughed.

"The first is the Frost Queen, a more vain, cruel, and powerful version of Stress; also the second most powerful 'Ego' of Stress. The most powerful Stress 'Ego' has surrendered to her for peace.

The second is the Phantom Menace. Yes, Grian. Yours. Menace; having the ability to ally with the worst mob ever AND being stealthy is a powerful match. Does that answer you?"

Grian gulped.

"Uh... yeah!", he replied.

X then grabbed Mumbo and Grian and whispered harshly,

"Don't tell the other hermits about any of this, got it? Or I WILL demise you!"

Grian and Mumbo gulped.

X is pretty scary when he's threatening you.

They nodded.

"Good..", X grunted. "You better..."
