"It isn't enough?"

 "For the hundredth time.. yes! Those were my exact words."

After both Finn walked out of the room, it didn't take long for everyone else to figure out that something was wrong. Very wrong. 

Caleb was the first to notice so he asked Sadie to please go check on Millie and as soon as he heard the door close he approached Finn. He asked if he wanted a drink and told him to follow him into the back yard. so now here they are, Finn tells him what happened and Caleb contemplates slapping him. and well since he's thinking it...

"ouch! what- why do you hit me?" Finn said as he reached to rub the back of his head where Caleb had just hit him.

"what's wrong with you?" Caleb asked while trying to and failing at hitting his best friend a few more times.

"What. Are you. stop hitting me ! talking about?" he reached for calebs hands and pulled them down. He was starting to feel confused by his reaction. Honestly, what kind of reaction was he expecting.Caleb finally stopped pulling his hands free from Finn's grip. 

" You. both of you are acting like idiots. No, actually, you guys are idiots." Finn tried to defend himself, but Caleb quickly cuts him off. " The blame here is on both of  you. You, you left her without an explanation, you left her without giving her a choice. what did you expect from her? you know Millie and you know that forgiveness doesn't come easy for her. and before you say anything, I'm not defending her okay? she fucked up and she knows it." In those five years, he had to watch his family fall apart all because one ran away and the other had too much pride. "Why, after so many years, did you decide to come back?"

 A simple question with a simple answer.

 "I'm not saying you shouldn't be mad because you should, you have every right to be. And I'm not telling you to take her back either. I'm just saying, that out of the million and one reasons to come home, she was the one that finally convinced you to."
